  1. a game to approach with great caution, or we will take a big bite on the bum Ronald will really need to get attitude spot on
  2. funny how things go in cycles in my time of support we have had various chairman some who operated in the background with little conversationalist approach George Reader and Alan Woodford, then we had the limelight likers Askham, Lowe and Wilde, then we had NC who was prepared to back his judgement and basically did what was right for the Club at the time.
  3. WHO cares what Jim White thinks
  4. keeper only can stop the shots that get through defence, he has done that. he needs to be given credit like other keepers in past who played behind great defences, Seaman, Shilton(at Forest) Clemence etc
  5. was the same in the early 80's , just enjoy it
  6. Disagree about David Webb always gave 100%
  7. imo it was because we kept the 3 Central Midfield players
  8. or wembley 78 in lc
  9. would be great to reach the final. best thing about LC is 2 leg semi final 78 against Leeds was a classic was a post the other day saying OWTSGMI was not a rousing song , that poster should have been at The Dell on the night of the 2nd leg against Leeds, after Terry Curran scored, the place was bouncing with the song
  10. most of them would be un PC these days
  11. so you should i have voted him as mom for last 2 games,
  12. that is why imo he is a class act, calm no fuss does the job and you get home and think what did he do
  13. Toby top man again for me, never seems in trouble calm with the ball, another cleansheet and keeper has little to do
  14. ALL that concerns me is our result, first I ever know about other scores is in the car on the way home from SMS
  15. he's getting sacked in the morning
  16. a throw back game from a previous era my MOM was Alderweireld the confidence he plays with is being transmitted throughout the team
  17. which is a short sighted approach as we discovered a few years back when only the 15000 hardcore game, a 10% reduction in season ticket/match day tickets would cost £2.5m per season at most and may actually fill the 3000 empty seats at a lot of games thus raising another £1m over the season, making a loss of £1.5m which with a bit more effort in selling to the corporates could be made up
  18. start photographing their cars if parked illegally or inconsiderately,, so you can see number plate, and when they ask what you are doing say producing evidence for police.
  19. no way am i worrying about next summer, got nearly a whole season to get through first
  20. strange business football sustainable growth depends on success of first team on the pitch, you can flower it up with fancy words and aims, but boils down to that success
  21. you lose games sometimes important think now is Sunderland in 2 weeks
  22. depends on your age, with 54 years of support, the numbers to pick from our enormous
