It's the same people every single transfer window who pîss and moan about an apparent lack of ambition and cry because we haven't signed anyone on Jan 1st. They see clubs like West Ham whoring themselves in the sports media claiming to be in for anyone who's available and use that as a yardstick as to how much more ambitious they are compared to us......then we sign someone decent and off they fück until the next window opens.....boring!

It is obvious to all what we need, I fully expect the club to be working hard behind the scenes. SFC is a well run outfit, it hasn't become unprofessional and complacent over night.

I find myself agreeing with the OP, we've sold off what made us a great team and once Virgil goes in the summer we're down to the bare bones. After Virgil we'll no doubt sell Boufal....It's all well and good blooding youth but let's be honest, we don't have any diamonds anymore and haven't since Luke Shaw.

I just get annoyed with the incessant trolling by the usual suspects, there are a few who so obviously post what they post to get a reaction and yes I react, sometimes angrily which I believe I am entitled to do!! In the real world if someone was that persistent and irritating I would also react angrily, and if warranted I might even give them a slap, it's not big or clever of course but that's how some of us are. Of course if I react too angrily too often I get a ban, which I have just returned from (I'm in my 40's ffs) During this ban i was still able to monitor the forum...the same trolls were still out in force peddling the same old persistent crap unmoderated. I'm told that these individuals will now be dealt with, good news and with that I also will try to keep my own frustration in check..lets see how we go

I don't think it's that simple, we need one of course, but a change of style is required also. Last season we switched to 3-5-2 when we were struggling and it worked immediately.

Indeed, as I recall Shane Long only really came to prominence when Pelle was injured.
