  1. Does Pellegrino's departure suggest the return of Carrillo to St. Mary's in January, given that his best mate is no longer around at Leganes to cover up his utter uselessness?
  2. Buddha?
  3. And still forked from spending several hours at 40,000 feet...
  4. Really? Is three days not enough to recover from a few hours in business class, watching movies on demand with a glass of gin? These guys should try being long-haul cabin crew. I am guessing that you are not a regular long-haul traveller?
  5. Yoshida would be captain in Hojbjerg's absence, I imagine. I would play Romeu and Danso in front of a back four. There is a proper player in Armstrong, but he needs to be further up the pitch, as he tends to make horrific mistakes when near his own goal. I would put him in the centre of an attacking midfield 3, flanked by Djenepo (when fit) and Boufal. Redmond is flattering to deceive again at the moment. Ward-Prowse and (much as I hate to write this) Hojbjerg need to go back to school. Primary, if necessary.
  6. Mate, after that little lot, you might want to change your user name to Bermuda Triangle!
  7. It's not happening, is it?
  8. Er, it didn't. He switched to three at the back (with Danso central) when it became apparent that Bournemouth were in danger of making a cricket score.
  9. Goals get scored in football matches. Some are avoidable, others result from good build-up play and a cracking shot. This was one of the latter (even though I agree that Cedric has a tendency to back off far too readily).
  10. It was this game that made me realise that Lemina was a head-case; the opportunity to show off his wares against a really big club, at an iconic stadium and he just couldn't be arsed. Great way to put yourself in the shop window for a top club to take notice, Mario!
  11. This, with bells on.
  12. I agree with all of that. He is something of a Universal Soldier; a physical unit, seemingly able to play in a number of positions (for a supposed central defender, he can certainly play on the wing), plus the aforementioned long throws. Definitely looks to be one of the squad's best 11 players, but how best to accommodate him?
  13. Danso was a silly boy, but he looks some player. Great to have a long throw option again too, really causes panic in the opposition's box.
  14. Quite.
  15. Insurance against what, Twot?
  16. I think this is going to be a common post.
  17. Wracking, surely?
  18. I have a suspicion that Victor is somewhat older than his "official" age of 28...
  19. Not true! Valery started to come off (presumably for Cedric), but then re-assumed his position. The initial, mass, substitutions were a bit of a shambles.
  20. Wolves could be building something quite special, to be fair.
  21. He's not that good!
  22. These about sum it up.
  23. Rowlocks, Targett is a snail.Decent crosser, though.
  24. And can we please accept that Austin is done?
  25. Can't believe I am agreeing with the vampire bird-man, but that was the best atmosphere St. Mary's has seen since that comeback against the Pool.
