Schlotterbeck is the 'THB replacement' Abbott will fill Quarshie's role. I don't think that was the intention from the outset but given out priority choices have either turned us down or proven too expensive I don't think it's the end of the world.

Would hope we'd bring in one more in midfield. Definitely lacking in physicality with the current group

Not sure I'd put too much stock in a report from what is basically the Portuguese equivalent of The Sun.

We're an injury away from a crisis in midfield imo, especially given the number of games we play at this level in quick succession. Jander's absence today showed that. Imagine if Flynn had picked up a red card, we'd have been looking at starting Matsuki or Azaz at CM next week, which isn't ideal. I'd like to see an experienced mid like Louza come in plus a Jander style punt from the continent.
