Defo agree a comparison across Premier League teams would be worthwhile....my sense is that we measure well against most of the other highly respected academies like Everton's for bringing players through but I wonder how we rack up in terms of revenue from youth players. Wouldn't surprise me if we came out near the top of that too.
I agree in terms of the points before/after data, but interesting to see the preparation and recovery times teams get in different countries. This can definitely be an advantage rather than the league pimping to tv demands.
Wouldn't surprise me to see Chambers returning of all of them. He really needs to be playing football at his age and I do think he still has the raw ingredients.
Schneiderlin really stands out to me here, he is one I really expected would have pushed on but maybe the jump has just been too big for him and/or he's been a victim of United's issues.
The money for a player his age is decent, but then again, replacing him adequately would not be cheap. That said, if he wants to go, then he goes. Pointless keeping a guy against his will.
