Directly from a first team squad player, Virgil Van Dijk did a photoshoot a few days ago modeling the new kit. That's not the actions of a player wanting out or if the club were looking to cash in or at the very least were not expecting him to be here next season.

How is this for skilled: You are a complete and utter imbecile. I am absolutely NOTHING to do with "Jack Schitt" and this is the last time I'm replying to you.

I have been told Claude Puel is basically gone at the end of the season. I've been told there are 3 people on the list. One of them IS Ranieri and the one of the others is a CURRENT NON-English Manager in England, I know the name but I cannot give it. The other no idea. I also know that one of them is being spoken to RIGHT NOW and I'd assume that is Ranieri as he is not contracted. I realise the usual suspects will quote me and call me out on this and the vagueness, this is as much information as I can give. Take this what you will unless something radically changes Puel is being replaced.

crab lungs" you have to be joking? Gareth Rogers is chief executive officer of the club. RE: new kit. Think: 1980's. Classic. Thick white stripe. and big badge in the middle. Not in its usual position. The strip is more white than red. Actually. 3 bars. Nothing like the current one. Nobody has to believe a word I say but the club is a stone wall.

Whatever happens. ..happens. That thread on the other forum posted above is a bit hmmm. I will return with more on that. Although Rogers operating with "one hand tied behind his back" is correct. Sadio Mane was against his will I know that. But re players being sold. Ignore everything for the moment about Virgil Van Dijk. He did a photo shoot this week modeling the new kit.

Relegated Teams - Players who would you buy from their Squads?

He's also the nephew of the owner, I'm not sure he'd leave unless it's to help the club. -
Just take his word for it. It's true.

Lol what's going on here?...trolled? Best thing you can hope for is this club being sold or you're gonna lose players in the summer. Owner won't pay wages, board will sell you down the river in a heartbeat. Like making players sign contracts then the clubs up for sale.

I Said that here: http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?57377-Rumours-of-takeover-investment-by-Chinese-company-Lander-Sports-Development&p=2446400#post2446400 Way before that rag got hold of it. I know more about this club and what actually goes on than any of you on here. Everything I've said (in my 50 posts) on this board has come directly from a pretty damn reliable source. But keep saying I'm talking sh**. The club don't tell you fans F'all and it's the worst I've ever seen. Clubs will say what they have to say.

Seriously, when you have an assistant manager, who is a terrible, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE addition to the backroom staff, and when he's (Black) is walking around the training facility, very audibly questioning the "attitude" of certain players (more than one) and pointing in players faces at close proximity, I'm talking about extremely senior INTERNATIONAL players, that shouldn't be happening full stop. I think if Puel is sacked, and I'm not saying he will be, but if he is, there will be a whole bunch of players going for Blacks head. Not one player, that I know of or have heard of, has an issue with Claude Puel. It's all Black.

If I was trying to do that, asking this question would be a pretty dumb way of going about trying to actually do THAT wouldn't it ....don't you think?.. The amount of doubt I get. I was asking because 15% is a very specific number and I **thought** the bid was about £60M BELOW what Liebherr was asking, and I also **thought** that was flat out turned down.. so it's pretty interesting that 15% was mentioned as it would tie-in. Other than that I don't know anything else about it and I'm as interested as anybody else, but for probably different reasons. For all the doubters, I'm extremely close to one of the current regular first team players..read into that whatever you like. (no I'm not his Wife or Girlfriend either) Some flipping idiots on here.

Hi, I've asked not sure if you saw it..or you don't want to say. But all I want is a number 1-10 on how reliable this is who you heard it off?... I'm not asking you to out the person...just need a number. Cheers
-
The bit I've highlighted. How reliable is it you heard it off on a scale of 1-10? I honestly no nothing about this deal or any details at all. I've just been linked to this thread. Thank you.

Sullivans son has a colossal mouth. Most of their deals fall through because he can't keep his mouth shut when he should do.

Perhaps Puel should follow Koeman and demand new players

Erwin had a blow up, as I said here: http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?57504-Virgil-to-sign-for-everyone!&p=2436634#post2436634 Apparently he thinks Everton sold them a ticket down the river and he ain't happy. He didn't want to leave here. RK persuaded him. -
This is what it is about..as I said here: http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?57504-Virgil-to-sign-for-everyone!&p=2434697#post2434697 The reality Virgil is 25 Fonte is 33. Fonte asking for £100K a week?... no idea where that came from.

I've not seen anything to suggest we're in for Berahino. Haller though was shown around the facilities last summer. I know that much.

Nope. Journo's also need slapping with a dead fish. Especially the Daily Echo in particular.

There is a heck of a lot of of over-shooting here (no pun intend...obviously good grief.) This is my last post as I'm maxed out today and I have nothing more to add. I do not believe Claude Puel HIMSELF has lost the dressing room, I think his job is being made infinitely harder by having "a no2" whom more than one player don't particularly like. I'm not going to name players, but I can tell you Shane Long isn't one of the more vocal ones. One HAS been mentioned on this thread and has had dust ups with Black before, which was mis-reported as being Dusan Tadic. As per this: "Some senior pros have told the club, either sort it out, which I assume means get rid of Puel, or the players will leave and some have already instructed agents to see what's available elsewhere." ^ that also confirms everything I know, seen and have heard to be true, though NOT aimed at Claude Puel. Let's just get things into a bit of perspective, Claude Puel is not a bad manager, he just needs time and under the right environment..

Mr Shurlock: "AR-10 is full of absolute ****" http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?57728-Saints-need-to-stop-treating-the-fans-with-an-arrogance-bordering-on-contempt&p=2439574#post2439574

I've never entirely bought that interview. Whoever that "Middle man" was that made it happen needs slapping with a dead fish.

This is true. What I don't want to do is start pointing fingers re: who appointed Black. I don't know this for fact , so the following is just a hunch, but the way Black came into the club was both very late and very strange. My personal viewpoint based on what I know was that Puel and Black arrived at the club in very different ways, I don't mean logistically, I mean the way they came here was different. So this is what I think happened: - Black got wind Puel was appointed. - Black called the powers that be and said something like: "I know Puel, I'm essentially out of work, I speak French, I can help." The club **probably** put that to Puel and Puel said "sure, why not". You could call that a Puel appointment but I don't think it was anything close (or the same as) Puel HIMSELF stipulating he wanted Black as part of his Backroom setup as contract terms of Claude agreeing to come in, I just don't buy that. I really don't think that's the case, based on what I know of how Black arrived. Claude came in with Plancque before Black. Eric Black was and is a big big gamble, I'm not pointing fingers because I'm just guessing with this...but it's an educated guess. True Rotation is down to Puel ultimately and Tactics are down to Puel in part. You look at the way Villa set up last season and you look at how we've looked the last handful of games this season, it's alarmingly similar and I don't think that's entirely down to Puel. All that being said, here's what's on the website about both appointments: https://southamptonfc.com/news/2016-07-08/puel-black-and-plancque-are-important-additions ^ I'd take that webpage with a bagful of salt.

Eric Black for me is the issue here. I'm sticking my neck out a bit, but we have Eric Black, that has come from a club as toxic as Villa was to here...and let's face it, I'm being extremely candid here, he shouldn't be here. When there was talk of Black coming, it was brushed off by pretty much everyone I know, NOBODY believed it would happen, I'm TOLD the players themselves only found out about Black 2 days before the guy arrived. (at the club, not before it was announced). Nobody knew. And it was a shock then and it's still hard to wire together now, the guy wasn't massively liked at Villa to start with, which was not footballs biggest secret. I think, and I say this as a fan, equally disappointed, even p**ssed off with what's happened, but I just think, if we take Black out of the picture and let Puel do his thing and then see. For me, I just look at Villa last season and I look at us now, there isn't a great deal of difference, with one common denominator. Puel might not speak with the greatest clarity but he is fluent enough, which was as I understand it, the motivating factor and logic behind Black being recruited. He should have gone with the recent scandle and it was "nailed on" that he was gone. For me, I think it was a HUGE gamble bringing in Black. It really was. It was a massive gamble.

They have no chance.

Apparently it isn't exactly rosy up there. Erwins had a right falling out up there I think and Koeman has apparently said if he doesn't get who he wants THIS window he's off.
