Im the same, arguably the home kit is not as recognisable this year, the away one looks more like our 'normal' type of kit, plus i think it looks better. Yep the away kit should really be our home kit tbf
-
http://i49.tinypic.com/1erim9.png I prefer more white than red, i always think its a red stripe(s) on a white shirt tbf for our previous kits.

I've not seen him for rangers but I've seen him this season for NI at Windsor park. he's a talented player but I believe this season he's been really poor for rangers in what is a terrible league. I'd say he's a good premiership player but nothing special - and I'd agree with others would he really be much better than Morgan? perhaps as a potential squad player with hammond. If we got him for 2m it would be a solid buy and hopefully he could regain form.

Lads, How much do you all rate Frazer? He's played in most of our games so far this season and seems to be pretty solid at full back. I'm just interested to hear opinions as a leeds fan on another foum noted him as a player who had loads of potential with leeds in the premiership and thought he'd flopped. I politely reminded him that he went on to Charlton where he was in the PFA team of the year for 09/10 in league 1, was bought by us and is now playing in a team regularly, who are pushing for promotion back to the premiership after a great start in the CCC.

I wouldn't be too worried. Bad company 2 on the PC and console was pretty much identical in terms of gfx, and although the majority of the videos released are produced from high end PC's i think its safe to say the console versions will look stunning! I can understand someone with a high end pc looking full 1080p with all the bells and whistles but im happy with 720p. I think halo confirmed that FPS's can be played on a console, and since then i've just got used to the pad controls over mouse and keyboard.

Good things come to those who wait.

Legend is a term used far to often, but for Markus it is truly fitting. It's sad to think he was with the club for such a short time before he passed, but i'll never forget him. Sometimes i look to clubs like Manchester city and Chelsea who have had benefactors come in with alot of money, and transform the potential of those clubs - with us he literally saved the club from extinction when the writing really was on the wall at the time. His legacy could well see us back into the premiership in the next few seasons, and believe it or not i will shed a tear should we make it.

as someone pointed out earlier, it was harding's pass which was weak and lead to that nervous moment at the back. thought he played really well and playing with fonte can only help his progress.

imho 3 very good signings would make a very good team for the championship, and we've made 2 with 1 more to come hopefully
-
Great post. Agree with every point made there, a strong CB signing is what we need desperately, however as time presses on it could be Jan before we can get the right player for the club.

http://www.classicfootballshirts.co.uk/other-uk-clubs/championship/southampton.html Some classic saints shirts on here. I got the white and turquoise one for a reasonable cost, arrived quick and was in very good nick.

There goes the post quota!

I recently got a similar one from '97 http://www.classicfootballshirts.co.uk/media/catalog/product/i/m/image_377.gif But i loved this one, which the latest sort of reminds me http://www.classicfootballshirts.co.uk/media/catalog/product/S/o/Southampton-95-Third.gif

Match report on werder site said werder looked very tired, and never in the game
-
I think you are still ignoring the fact that he is 17 and a kid.

As an aside i thought the official site news item that referred to Cortese as saving the club was a bit, well wrong. Yes Markus was the savior of course and its right to refer to him as so. But Cortese? Well tbf if i was him and still working at the club i would feel uncomfortable being referred in the same light as Markus, especially as the tournament the story was about is for Markus. I could be oversensitive about this but no i wouldn't want my name referred to saving the club that strongly. I can imagine if things start to sour with Cortese and the fans, and the OS still referring to him as some exalted savior.

Barnard mentioned the away kit in one of the latest new items. He said 'fans would be pleasantly surprised' - i think he's referring to the fact that at least one version of our kit for this season still has a sash. Makes sense - one off anniversary shirt with high profile sash, bit of change going back to the stripes which the main site refer to several times. Kinda fits the club re-introduce the sash design as an away shirt in different colours....
-
No i heard it on another forum...
-
Honestly it could just be the template, i guess the opinion is that it will be a sash design at least.
-
Been informed that it is very similar to this
-
Eh? Harding is one of the best players we've acquired for many a season and definitely one of the best defenders.
-
So essentially its the current home kit with stripes rather than a sash. I'd like it, but question is would i shell out £45 for essentially the same shirt but with stripes?
