i came to a couple of games in the 12/13 season and have had a season ticket ever since - so a relative newcomer to The Saints family. After paying for my first full season ticket I had to witness the departure of both the manager and a bunch of key players. The season was still fantastic, especially thumping Arsenal on New Years Day. Morgan left, FF on long term injury & Alderweireld went back to Spurs. Last season was brilliant - The Aresenal thumped again, the amazing 3-2 victory against Liverpool and turning MC over.
Sorry to see RK leave and sad at the frankly shabby way he conducted himself at the end. Mane had become a 'show pony', playing when it suited him and keeping possession for a couple of touches too many. Wanyama was great when he was up for it but a waste of time when he wasn't.
I'm really looking forward to next season. Puel looks to have the right sort of attributes to make visits to St Mary's an exciting prospect.
