Just caught up with several days of this thread - is it too late for me to have the 24th July?

Home (Dell) - Matt v Arsenal - last game. The 6-3 comes close. Home (SMS) - Both promotions (can't choose really - the first was vital so felt relieved, the second was just brilliant to be back after 7 years) Away (league) - Luton away in 1978 10000 of us seeing us virtually promoted. Away (cup) 1976 FA Cup final. This being my ultimate winner. This couldn't be bettered as we were such underdogs. Until we win the Champions League in a couple of seasons that is......!!

RIP Markus and thank you. It's been a truly amazing 3 years and I will never forget just how rock bottom we were and how I felt when I knew we were saved. We have been on an incredible journey in that time and I am so grateful to Markus (and now his famil)y and also to NC's vision.

Sorry but I haven't read all the posts regarding how big we are but while I understand we wil never have the hstory of teams like Villa, Everton, Leeds etc. The question should be how big are we now? Ignoring history and past attendances we should value our club by what we have compared to others. We own our stadium, have a fantastic training facility, top academy, no debt, good squad, good manager, and an excellent business brain behind it all. I know what happens on the pitch is all important but how many clubs have better than we have. On this basis what position would we be in? Even the champions don't own their ground! As an aside I can't believe that NC would have shown pictures of a stadium expansion unless he was serious in implementing this in the near future. The images would have stayed private if not!! I believe (just my opinion) that this will started next summer to be finalised by summer of 2015 (Rugby WC).

As I understand it, the Football League hold their AGM from the 30th May-1st June by which time league clubs must be able to assure them they can fullfil their fixtures for the coming season. TB said that a vote for CVA2 would be held in 'early June'. Now unless it's on the morning of the 1st, I can't see how they can give the league any reassurance prior to this. Also, they have a week to offload their high earners otherwise there is no way they (Chanrai, Trust or break de bank) can come up with a credible business plan. Am I missing something here?

It seems every time this thread goes quiet something BIG is just around the corner. Hopefully not long to wait for more excitement!.

Can't help but think that many of the Phew were caught in the frenzy of excitement (in their eyes) of having a share of P****y but now a few weeks down the line many will have had second thoughts about throwing a grand down a drain (one with fat in it no doubt). The more intelligent ones will have realised they will never see a return for their 'investment' and others will have been talked out of it by worried spouses. I would be surprised if half the pledges come to fruition - not that they would admit it.

Almost cracked at 2-0 when I realised the dream was becoming reality but it was only when I got home and saw Nigel's interview that I finally gave in to the odd tear!
