We need to play 4231 from now on. Been banging on about it all season. We slaughtered them with a 4231. It could have been more than 4. I'm generally happy with Puel, and I hope he will learn and continue with 4231 system. That being said if I was the manager at the start of pre-season I would put my house on the fact we would have more points in the league right now.

I'm usually missing when we lose, much happier when we are winning and post more. It confuses me that some seem to thrive off us losing.

The local paper in the Sunderland area thought that Sunderland would win today. Read it this morning. It said we were in dreadful form, injuries and one eye on the final. And they were expecting Sunderland to turn us over. Wrong.

If one of our CB's gets injured Bertrand can play left centre back and McQueen will play left back. Don't forget that. Gardos also showed promise before he got injured. Don't judge Gardos just on the Arsenal game. I also assume that VVD must be bad very soon

We played four premier league teams. That's getting there the hard way. We are the first team in history to get to the final without conceding. In essence you are a cry baby and think you are entitled to have your team win every single game.

Reed looked like he had great potential when he burst onto the scene. The way Koeman treated him has ruined his confidence. Hopefully it hasn't ruined him as a player permanently. He needs to go on loan to league one or the championship. We need to sign a DM anyway, so signing one would give us a chance to loan Reed out.

Agree with you (and Dusic obviously). My other post still stands, but I'll comment. Playing against JWP, Clasie and Davis must be a joy. No physicality at all. As must playing against JWP, Clasie and Reed. The weaker teams will get out played by JWP, Clasie and Davis anyway as their quality on the ball will be too superior. But anyone half decent will be licking their lips. We need a back up for Romeu that's his level. Ideally it's someone that plays central midfield unless Romeu is injured.

The only thing I'll say is if he looked a prospect 5 years ago then what's happened? Why hasn't he developed like he was supposed to and like the club expected? Does he not train properly? Is he in it for a free ride? I don't know.

Yoshida never switches off. Concentration is his strong point.

Difficult one. The way the market is who is a realistic target that's a definite improvement on Yoshida? I don't know. It's probably going to be a player that's transfer listed and we can't see the transfer list can we?
