When has he said this?

Been binge watching Air Crash Investigation on Nat Geo lately, and that particular episode just a couple of weeks ago. Great show.

Yay! Off on loan to Celta tomorrow. https://twitter.com/victorsaians/status/1087130648073117699?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1087130648073117699&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fs9e.github.io%2Fiframe%2Ftwitter.min.html%231087130648073117699

Maehle, Samatta, Trossard & Berge. Genkhampton.

We have made some pretty dreadful signings lately but I swear I have never been as furious with a particular signing as with this one. Four separate long term knee injuries in his career. FOUR FFS!

Is setting 20m on fire going to be a thing every window? Absolute panic buy, total thundercünts running this club over the last 2 years.

I'm not convinced even that is true. As we have seen on this very page, too many people in the UK have no idea what the Eu's Free Movement Directive really is and get it mixed up with border controls, which is a completely unrelated issue. https://www.newstatesman.com/politics/staggers/2017/07/most-leave-voters-back-free-movement-you-just-have-explain-it http://www.politics.co.uk/comment-analysis/2018/07/16/why-freedom-of-movement-may-be-a-lot-more-popular-than-you-t "Free movement has become a loaded term in British political debate in a way that it has not in other European countries. Brits therefore approach the subject with significant preconceptions, mostly negative. This is why it is so easy to get skewed results if a poll does not give a real explanation of the term, links it to unrelated concepts (such as 'open borders' or refugees) or sets up a comparison."

The so called experts premiership predictions for 2018/2019
Cartman replied to Pilchards's topic in The Saints
The first 3 are fan polls and the ESPN one was done in May. Knew something wasn't right when I saw Newcastle in 7th so went see how they reached that conclusion: "If Rafa Benitez remains in charge at St James's Park next season, presumably he will have been promised the kind of resources he requires to push Newcastle up a level." Then I checked when it was published. -
Jannik Vestergaard - Official: Signs for Leicester
Cartman replied to ChiefScummer's topic in The Saints
£65k + £6m signing on fee. https://www.spotrac.com/epl/afc-bournemouth/jermain-defoe-23836/ Also matches the numbers on football manager as do Forsters', so this website is probably accurate. -
What debt? You do understand that there no evidence whatsoever that we were subjected to a leveraged buyout right?
-
"Celta is negotiating the sale of Maxi Gómez to West Ham. The english club has offered 30 million but Celta are asking for 40. Negotiations are ongoing and hope it will be concluded this week. It would be the largest sale in the club's history, higher than the 18 for Nolito."

Like I said, are people really that bored? There are other things that can be discussed rather than dedicating so much time (Sky made it up 5 days ago!) to a rumour that has much credibility as one posted by anyone one of us. Less in fact. We may as well just make up our own rumours and discuss that.
-
You mean this? http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11685/11446958/west-ham-in-talks-with-sampdoria-over-pedro-obiang-sale "If he does leave the London Stadium, Sky sources understand West Ham may look towards Southampton midfielder Mario Lemina as a potential replacement." Yeah, looks legit. "Sky sources" "West Ham"

What the fück is going on in this thread? Is this some kind of weird Stockholm syndrome that fans have grown so attached to selling our best players and can't imagine a window without it happening (not that our players are good enough to attract interest from the top 6), so are now fantasising about it based on absolutely nothing? Or is everyone just really, really bored?
-
My guess? He has lost mobility since his injury. It was masked by a very good defense in front of him when he came back during the second half of 15/16 (we were second only to Leicester in that period) but has been exposed once the quality of the defense was downgraded. He definitely wasn't anywhere near this bad when we first bought him.
-
Yeah. No idea where his inflated reputation on here comes from. Deportivo conceded more goals than anyone else and Schär was even dropped twice, once after a 5-0 defeat to Sociedad and again after a 3-0 defeat to Getafe.
-
£70k. £40k when he signed from Celtic, £55k after the first extension, £70k now.

GK: McCarthy, Gunn, Rose CB: Yoshida, Vestergaard, Bednarek, Bertrand, Hoedt/Stephens RWB: Cédric, Reed LWB: Targett, McQueen CM: Romeu, Hojbjerg, Lemina, JWP, Armstrong FW: New Signing, Gabbiadini, Austin, Elyounoussi, Redmond, (Sims) OUTS: Gallagher, Hoedt/Stephens (with Vestergaard in and Bertrand at CB we have too many I think), Hesketh (loan), Forster (if someone is kind/stupid enough to take him off our hands), Long, Davis We won't fill the full 25 man squad unless some of the deadwood hang around, that would mean too many players not getting any game time at all, even for teams playing in Europe only around 20 players get more than 500 minutes across all competitions. Expect both Targett and McQueen to stay, Bertrand to play at LCB. In any case, we need 3 players in the squad capable of playing at LWB in case we have 2 of them out at the same time. Don't see anyone else in the squad who could fill in.
-
Van Dijk and Carrillo only spent half of last season here so only half their annual salary goes into the calculation of last season's wage bill. Plus Clasie, Gallagher and Targett are back and some players, younger ones mostly, might have year on year automatic wage increases.
-
So nothing to do with transfer funds. Most likely our signings this summer have maxed out how much we can spend on wages under the Short Term Cost Control regulations and we now have to shift players off the wage bill, either by selling or on loan, to make room for new ones.
-
We are not signing Ings. Alan Nixon is probably being paid by the agent to make sure clubs remember Ings is still alive. Because Gallagher has shown nothing to suggest that he deserves it. On the evidence of the last two seasons he is nothing more than an average championship level player.
-
That was at RB though, not RWB. It is curious to note that in Ward-Prowse, Reed, Lemina and Hojbjerg we have several players who have played at RB or RWB before, not sure we need to be signing a specialist RWB simply to act as backup, even more so when we have Valery coming through.

I read it as 'On our shortlist but at the bottom'. Fixed
