  1. 1 premier league goal and 1 Europa League assist.... People should check things like this before making stupid remarks like that shouldn't they. They hate for Redmond is weird. I think he is a top prospect and would benefit from our fans actually giving him some support. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. If you weren't entertained by that goal then I suggest you spend your money doing something other than watching footy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Just look at the stats. Whilst we have been fairly poor going forward, Palace have offered NOTHING and scored 3 lucky scrappy goals. We must have the record for both the most goals conceded from first shots on target and most goals conceded per shots ratio. Right this one off as a freak and move on. 4. Ah the stock "if you don't like it, go away" response. Excellent stuff. I'm not offended at all, if you want to be a miserable old fart about your team all of the time then more fool you. I'm all for balance of opinion etc, but being 100% negative all of the time does not show balance at all. "Supporting" your team should be exactly that, "supporting" them. If they play bad, sure, vent, critique, swear a little, but at least show some semblance of being a fan and enjoying the experience. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. You are missing the point. You can cope with your fear of being let down any way you please, the complaint is the idea of coming into a forum full of Saints fans and trying to drag them down with you. I'm always terrified of losing, but not to the point of not enjoying it when we win. Enjoy the win, enjoy the Semi, and if we lose, moan to your hearts content. Before that, support your sodding football team. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Not if you buy that house in Scotland... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. IBO (it's beautiful outside). Only one troll on there and he is mild mannered and sometimes quite funny. The rest are great people who love Saints, most of them very knowledgable. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. One of the main reasons he knuckled down in his last season is the French national team manager advised him that staying at Southampton for one more year would be much better for his international prospects. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I'd hardly call that goal a glimpse!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I know Danielle very well, she lives with my best mate and I spotted a post she put on facebook about the incident. If you'd like me to pass on a message to her I'd be very happy to (in case you don't have her contact details) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Had that been done, most would have criticised Puel for lack of ambition. The team put out at Inter was clearly more than good enough to win the game. The team that will face City is good enough to at least have a chance to win it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I think a few moments back in 2012 might shade that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Nice work Sherlock. Brilliant. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Who knows what his motivations were for moving. All I'm saying is what I know about him. I don't think he is unmotivated by money, just less so maybe. I'm sure he is ambitious and is perfectly aware that goalkeepers have a long shelf life in sporting terms. Plenty of time for him to get that big move without holding us to ransom. 15. Forster is a character unlike those you would associate with football. When he came back from injury, he said the only thing that would make him leave Southampton is not getting playing time. As far as I'm aware he is happy here and not angling for a move. Nice quiet guy with little thirst for fame. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Sorry for the whole grammar police think. I was a bit sloshed last night! Although my mistake was clearly just a typo. Worth pointing out we had 1 point from 2 games last season and the season before. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. The words "any idiot" followed by "could of" are I case of the most delicious irony. It's "could have" you illiterate plonker. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I know this much: Fonte is happy to stay/wants to stay but has received offers for much more money. His family would prefer to stay here as they are settled but will move if they have to. Fonte is after a pay rise to reflect his performances for club and country as he is thinking about his future. He has the opportunity to earn much more elsewhere but would prefer to stay here. He would like more money, the club are reluctant as it is against their policy. The bottom line here is that contrary to popular belief, Jose's head has not been turned by bigger clubs, but he does want to make more money (don't we all!). My source on this is very solid however I will not reveal details and could not give a flying doodaa if any of you believe me. Just getting bored of the speculation about him and for once it looks like a player is not just after that big move. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. It was open play. Having Cedric on Deeney was not a calculated decision, it was merely a result of Deeney pulling away to beyond the far post which is the area that Cedric will ordinarily cover. Although I did see Tadic marking Deeney from a corner at one point which I thought was odd. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. And this proves the subjectivity of football. I would say you are talking nonsense but I could very well be myself. The three guys that I went with all agreed that aside from a few silly decisions, Romeu was controlling that midfield. He was the only one matching the physicality of the Watford players (along with VVD), he moved the ball well and tried to make things happen. He didn't have his best game by any stretch but there was plenty there for me to think that he will be a regular for us this season. The one thing there is no debate about is how class Hojberg looked. Long may that continue. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. True, most thought that about Newcastle. I'm not saying we can't get relegated with this team, what I'm saying is the suggestion that this team is in danger of relegation is silly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Are you joking? VVD, Hojberg, Tadic, Forster, Bertrand, Davis, players like this are not in a team in danger of relegation, save for some freak bad luck. Get a grip. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. One, if not the smartest thing I've read since I've been loitering on this forum. And yet it really is so simple. I need not add anything to this and only hope that the vast amount of people having a breakdown on here, actually take note of this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. If you lot want to talk about **** poor performances the look no further than over half of Mane's games last year. Redmond was wasteful at times but still showed potential, scored one, had one disallowed. Worked tirelessly too. Such ridiculous overreaction. Why don't you people make a thread about how utterly class Tadic and VVD were? Or how Hojberg will likely turn out to be one of the best signings this season? Redmond did ok, and has more to give. Main thing is, he tried, which is more than I can say for the precious Mane for most of last season. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. I saw a league table for crap decisions which resulted in scoring or missing out on goals. Saints were basically one of the worst affected. I only need to think back as far as the Leicester game to find one that was pretty disgraceful. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
