I think he would still be a good signing we just can’t have him be the only attacker we bring in. He hasn’t done his ACL which is the only knee injury where players tend to never come back full strength. If we can sign him and someone like Promes/Sisto we can afford to have him on the sidelines until full fitness.

If Shaqiri does come in my guess is that Tadic is off to Ajax. I don’t think we would bring in just Shaqiri and not a pacey winger that our attack needs. Promes deal could be held up as Spartak haven’t signed their replacement yet due to the Russian window not being open?

A front four of Austin with Gabbiadini playing off of his shoulder plus Tadic and Redmond (Promes?) on the wings could be deadly. Two at the top I don't think will work as we saw at West Ham so Gabbi playing off of Austin instead of up front with him is crucial.

I am looking to make the trip from Wisconsin for the match later in the month. Before I book the flight and my hotel I want to make sure that I will be able to get a ticket! Having never made the trip to St. Mary's I figured now is the time as I want to be able to watch my favorite team play in the prem while I still have the chance! Struggled again today but I hope he stays in the 11. When he's at his best (Watford away last year) he can be an absolute nightmare for the opposition. Just needs to add consistency to his game and I believe it will come sooner rather than later.

A player who intrigues me (I know I'm probably in the minority with this one) is Adama Traore from Boro. He's got real pace and has great ability to beat 2 or 3 players off the dribble which is exactly what we need at the moment. He isn't anywhere near the final product yet but at only 21 he has loads of potential and I think he would be a decent signing for us.

Saw us linked with Philip Billing from Huddersfield. Keeping a close eye on him right now against Man City and I must say I'm quite impressed. Easily been their best player so far!

It's early, but I think I'd give the slight edge to McQueen. Have to see more of him defensively though.
