  1. Should have been sacked in the summer
  2. I see that Skybet have in the last hour removed all betting on the next Prem manager to leave. Take from that what you will.
  3. If Farmer is right and Moyes won’t come then Cooper is the next best option. Or a return for Danny Rohl
  4. If we can get him, Moyes is the obvious choice. The most experienced manager out there who is available.
  5. It’s simple. If the fans want him sacked then boycott home games. Nothing will change whilst St Mary’s is full or thereabouts. The club need a rocket up them and fans can do that by voting with their feet. But they won’t. I’m doing my bit and won’t go again home or away until he’s gone.
  6. It is very clear that it doesn’t matter what the results are week in week out, as things stand the club won’t sack RM. They’re going to give him the season. The only thing that might change that mindset is either a stay away from the fans, a walk out during a game or demonstrations in the ground game after game. Essentially it’s up to the fans. You want him gone then instead of coming on here and bitching about it, take some action and get the fans on board. No guarantees it will work but on the pitch and in the boardroom nothing will change.
  7. We’re going down. Anyone who thinks differently is deluded. We need to prepare for next season and beyond. Lallana is a bright chap. Put him in charge for the rest of the season and see how we do. No-one is going to blame him when we go down. He can then start afresh next season with a decent squad and re-build so long as he shows something in the remainder of this season. If he doesn’t we get someone new in over the summer. It cannot possibly be any worse than we have now.
  8. When I said “fall on his sword”, I meant that he goes to the Board and agreed a deal with them for his departure. He knows his time is up. The Board knows his time is up. Act like grown ups and agree the exit strategy. That would be the honourable thing to do but aside from one or two there are very few honourable men in football.
  9. We don’t need to wait until Monday. If Martin had any honour he would fall on his sword now. But he doesn’t. He’s a conceited, self satisfied championship level at best, average manager. You could see that last season. He should have been sacked over the summer but instead we bizarrely gave him an extended contract. Cortese knew what to do when he got rid of Nige and replaced him with Poch. No sentimentality. The Board are just as much to blame here. Everyone know that his time is up. We do it now or we wait 6 weeks and do it then when the position will be far worse. Get Potter if they can or even Moyes. Both with PL experience and simply better managers in every department.
  10. One goal and one assist
  11. Hard to argue with that
  12. Is it? Hahahaha. I’ll get my coat
  13. No O’Riley for Celtic tonight
  14. We could try and get him to play for us. There’s a novel idea. If he refuses on the grounds of being injured and the medical team say that he’s fine, we simply stop paying him. If he plays we promise him a move at the end of the season.
  15. Top player
