This Trust idea about the council buying SMS
northam soul replied to alpine_saint's topic in The Saints
I would of thought Barclays would not be too happy either as our overdraft however big it is now would be lent on the assetts of the club or personal guarantees. Now i am pretty sure none of our directors have put up personal guarantees so i would assume Barclays would want their overdraft paid back immediatley if this were to happen. A rent would have to be charged so how much would the savings be compared to our mortgage payments. -
Bloody hell thats a bit optimistic ?

We may as well make this happen early by all boycotting now and get him in asap. Kill two birds with one stone as they say. -
Have the RSPCA had a surge in calls as well because my dog dreads me coming home from football.

Well i am afraid at least under portvliet we looked a decent passing side at times but just lacked a bit of creativity and muscle. Now under wotte we have completely ditched the idea of passing and just hoof the ball all game with the same end result. This is without doubt the worst period both on and off the pitch in my time following saints and probably anyone elses who is still alive.

I cannot believe that barclays will be too happy if the reports coming from Dave Jones et all are true as he clearly stated we would need to sell and as far as i can tell nothing has changed to make that any different. As for your friend then i am afraid our revolutionary coaching set up certainly lived up to its name because revolutions never last that long.

So is that 6million for their shares because if so that is far to much for 22% of the company and then crouch would be over the 30% anyway so he would have to buy the rest.

No way is nineteen canteen sundance beast as his posts are not of the same manner. Having said that he certainly must be close to the current regime in some form or other. Its nice to see Jonah back to stick up for good old rupes again.

Ok .

So hes basically saying we need experience and have to many youngsters. No **** sherlock we have been saying that for months.

The issue at the back of block 4 was because of a power hungry steward. He got himself in a situation he shouldnt have so all his mates then had to wade in as well. Now i am afraid that us older generation that sit back there are the wrong people to get lairy with as he found out. It was all over one fan standing, what ****es me off is the double standards as nobody batted an eyelid last week.

If our academy is so good and there are players waiting to come in why do we have so many loans and why will we need to get even more loans in January. Some of the loans we have taken on have been total dross and need to go back in January such as Smith. Its no good moaning about the sale of jones etc as i am sure you would of not stood in there way as you have just statedand its all very well saying they are now getting a chance but that has been forced upon us its not because they are all worldbeaters.

Whats the site name

Perhaps Lowe has convinced them he is still playing
-
Jesus Christ if we stopped signing all these useless loanees and concentrated on keeping one or two of our better players we might have a chance. We seem to have bought or loaned an entire squad and that is the biggest waste of money.

Well Scooby what do you think as you were quick to put the boot in last week comparing Portvlieet to Pearson after 8 or 9 games, the revenge of the flatcaps is sweet.

Saturdays game is very important to future attendances as it is on sky and will be seen by all.To often in the past we have played well only to then be on the telly and serve up a nightmare display which is what the non attendees base their judgements on. I feel this game is worth a lot more than just 3 points it could be vital to our future income stream and the atmosphere at st marys.

Whats this rubbish about kids not staying up till 10.00, My old man always took me to evening games and it did me no harm and we had no shortage of kids at evening games a few years ago so a bit of a lame excuse really.
-
Who is it who counts the away fans as i think they need to go back to school. No way was there 820 as the OS states esprcially as they had ipswich down for 1036 the other night.

Two of us have moved from itchen corner to block 4 and have to say it has been pretty poor this season for atmosphere. There is no way they will back track now and open the itchen corner, even if we get a big gate they will open that corner last as it costs the most to police / steward and if they did open it for one game by the time they realised it would be needed maybe on walk ups us old regulars would not be able to get back there anyway.

There is one answer to this and that is for the team to play really well on saturday so that all those watching on telly can see what is actually happening and it may encourage bigger crowds for the future. If the game is poor and we lose then all the stay aways will remain so.
