I thought our ITK posters stated yesterday that Marc Jackson was in no way involved in the bid that was in but the echo states that he was. Why do people bother posting these supposed confirmed snippetts.

So now we have moved on from a couple of channell island no hopers to a seriously rich dood. These takeover threads are certaily gripping. Sousness or Phillip Green but didnt Mark Fry say one potential bidder was a household name so you never know.

This is quite possible as Mr Fry can sell off assets seperately if he wishes to get the best deal possible. If you were serious about buying the club would you really want Jacksons Farm i doubt it so i would assume Mr Fry is trying to offload that as a seperate deal.

As nobody has ever heard of these 2 characters and cant find any info on them apart from one has had several failed companies i find it hard to beleive they have the money. If the stories are true somebody else must be behind them providing the cash but it seems strange as to why he would put these 2 as his front men. If you had the money to front this then i am sure you would be the one involved,there cant be many that would stump up that sort of cash to own a football club and then not have the kudos of actually fronting the operation.

So potentially we could have a hockey loving posh **** as our new owner. Oh dear

For the record i happened to be in Eastleigh bus station waiting for my bus into town when they pulled up. Secondly i said i do not condone the throwing of coins etc. I am also sick to death of anyone who does not go to football dressed in a red and white shirt being labelled a chav pikey scum. If you look at the pictures of saturday and the trouble against charlton there are many fans in red and white shirts goading the opposition. IMO a lot of the reaction was down to the fact that there were a number of the blue few both in the ground and around before the game looking for trouble. One thing i also witnessed on my walk to the ground was a police officer tell a number of saints fans Exact words were - I hope you lot enjoy your time in league two the season after next. Now to me that is not a sensible comment from somebody in his position. Before you slate me again i will reiterate i do not condone some of the behaviour but some of the responses on here are pathetic.

None of you super fans are moaning about the coach load of burnley that arrived in Eastleigh at 11.15 giving it large to a bus station full of mostly women and kids. I dont see any of you super fans moaning about the coach load of burnley fans that then proceeded to walk off into eastleigh giving it large. I do not see any of you super fans moaning about the dozen or so Burnley and later Pompey who made the mistake of looking for trouble outside the Plume before the game. I do not see any of you super fans condoning the fact that there were a number of these said Skates in the Burnley end of which i counted 4 ejected after the complete ***** decided to sit there in his blue shirt. I do not condone the throwing of bottles or coins at the end but some people on here need to take a reality check as i am sure in the photos there are even some super shirters involved.

So you expect us all to throw cash in and join the band but we are not allowed to know what was said at this uber fans meeting.

But whoever takes it on will receive a massive summer income which would not normally be there ( Season ticket sales ) They will be a large initial boost to the clubs coffers for whoever takes over as that money would normally of been spent by now.

I find it highly unlikely the bank would of allowed us a £5m overdraft without some form of debenture or security on it but on the other hand this is a bank we are talking about.
