  1. I am not going to add much as i will upset a lot of people but just one point. How can they move the away fans into the itchen, everyone has been whinging about us upsetting the exec boxes so by moving 3,000 away fans infront of them ( if we ever fill them again ) would be a policing nightmare. Oh who cares Perhaps if the rest of the ground showed a bit more passion we wouldnt have this issue although from what i understand it has nothing to do with creating a noisier atmosphere at all.
  2. As i said on the other thread it is ridiculous. If every fan in the ground just sat still for one game and clapped politely which it seems is what they want then we would all be slated for not getting behind the team. I too get extra tickets every so often for friends / family so now i have to tell them to sit miles away even though there will be hundreds of empty seats in block 4 and 5 now.
  3. This is definately true. The stewards were telling us on tuesday as apparrently they were told to try and implement it then but it was too late as obviously loads of tickets had already been sold. What i want to know is why do they keep picking on that part of the ground it is becoming almost like constant harrassment. Yes the stewards have to tell people to sit down but in general that is all fairly good natured ( odd instance apart ) The atmosphere from there has already been ruined by first the corner closure then the closing of the back four rows and now season ticket holders only. If this club wants four stands like the chapel then it is going the right way about it. They constantly go on about getting behind the team yet seem too do all they can to stop it.
  4. The reason for this is that as from saturday the Itchen North is being made season ticket holders only. This is no bull****, we who sit in this area have been continually done over by the club over the last few seasons and i have had enough of it. Yes i have a season ticket so it doesnt affect me apart from ruining my match day experience as the atmosphere will be completely dead. The reason they are doing it is just a continuation of closing the corner to then the back four rows and now no match ticket purchases so that it turns into another happy clappy area.
  5. So ****ing poor, when you hoof the ball so often it negates the fact you have an extra man. Why oh why did we not try to play around them more making them run out of legs. I am sorry but there can be no excuses now as this is Pardews team and Pardews tactics and with charlton next week things do not look good at the moment. We are certainly setting ourselves up for more dismay placing so much faith in a player we know nothing about anyone remember Skacel.
  6. What about that 1970s or was it 80s cartoon BABAPAPA.
  7. Now desperatly need some creativity and pace as scoring goals is the problem.
  8. Its okay i have just seen a brand new fax machine being delivered to sms capable of sending 100 pages per minute for the 4.59pm paperwork to go through.
  9. The ref may have been poor but the real reason we are still on -7 is that we have played five games and only scored 1 goal in four of them and 0 in the other. We should be used to getting bad decisions as it happens no matter what league you play in, we were certainly still getting them in the prem. Goals have always been the answer to winning football matches and we will start scoring ( i hope )
  10. Mr ne ne ne 19 your views are quite flawed, the only thing i will agree with is that Matt did not put in as much hard work on the pitch as others. Now most people claim that you should get paid at a rate that is relevant to your contribution to your job well as far as i am concerned he contributed more than enough for the low wage comparible to others that he was paid at saints. Now just maybe thats what allowed him to do the things he did with a football as i certainly havnt see many players with as much technical ability as him. If he worked hard and was still able to do all the other things he did then he would of probably been the best player in the world ever but alas he was not and played his whole career for saints for which i am eternally grateful. There can be no doubt he should of received more caps for England and as has been pointed out he scored a hatrick in the B game to decide final places so what more could he have done. I remember the Italy game at Wembly when Le Tiss was made the scapegoat for Englands performance but after the dust had settled and it was analysed by the so called experts it was a fairly unanimous conclusion that he was actually our best player on the night. Hoddle had a lot to answer for not taking Matt to the world cup and the response from many non saints fans was pure amazement. Definitely the most gifted player we have ever had Definitely contributed to the outcome of more saints games than any other player we have had. Definitely scored the best goals of any player we have ever had. Definitely admired by more opposing fans than any other player we have ever had. Definitely as loyal a player as we have ever had. AND JUST FOR YOU 19C Definitely not one of the fittest players we ever had So i say to all take your pick of the above.
  11. So according to the article Rasiak was unimpressed by the club he spoke too which i assume was Reading so only Watford left then. I guess that means they didnt want to pay him enough.
  12. Jesus man get out in that big wide world and explore on your own you big girls blouse.
  13. In the past i have never passed judgement on any of your posts as despite some of the rubbish, you have made some valid points but i am afraid this really takes the buiscuit. Where would any proffessional footballer be now if he hadnt had somebody to give up his time on a saturday or sunday to run the local kids sides. I know several people who give up a lot of time for the kids and they certainly do not do it for the glory or their egos. It is quite understandable why some people take such an offence to you at times.
  14. I am going to have to do an Arsene Wenger on that one.
  15. I do not want to go manager bashing yet but what game was he at. We were lucky we didnt lose by 4 or 5 and we certainly didnt create anything of note all game. We had a couple of headers that were never troubling their keeper and Lamberts free kick. Ther only time there was any panic in their defence was in the last minute or so. To say we should of got something from the game is unbelievable. If we had of snatched a draw it would of been totally un deserved and papered over the cracks or earthquake size craters as they are. The formation just wasnt working and changes should of been made way way before he decded too.
  16. Good but after watching that last night there is something fundamentally wrong that a new defender and midfielder just will not solve. But get them in the starting line up and surely we have too improve.
  17. Quit possibly the worst saints team ever. The manager did not help much by playing 1 up front for most of the game with a striker at right midfield. He then made changes far too late in the game. We were totally outplayed by Swindon and but for Kelvin would have gone down by 4 or 5. They had pacy wide players who exploited us time and time again but we had Patterson playing in that role. They bossed the midfield despite us having 5 in there so i hope this new guy is good because i really cannot see 1 new player making much difference to this side.
  18. Ah not necessarily, i have an employee who apparrently tore both his hamstrings a week ago. Some achievement to do both at once considering he plays no sport and is 46 yrs old. After one week off work he is now back as if there was never a problem. This guy either has the best doctor in the country in which case i should try and get him to tell his doctor to contact all football clubs to offer his services or as i suspect he is full of ****ing ****.
  19. That New signing guy is going to be completely knackered playing in all those positions. Lets hope he is fitter than the rest.
  20. Well if we are going to have someone who can play saturday they will have to get a move on so we should be expecting an announcement tomorrow morning. A new face in tomorrow especially if he is of a decent calibre would give a huge boost for the game on saturday and then away again on tuesday. Come on Mr Cortese hurry up its been a few days now since the Lambert signing.
  21. Will be buying 2 Tickets tomorrow when i go down to sort my season ticket fiasco out after the closure at the back of block 4.
  22. I played with Craig Mcallister at Eastleigh a few years back, he was a good player at non league level but as his record suggests at Exeter i do not think he will improve our squad. In some respects he is a similar type of player to Lambert but perhaps not at the same level.
  23. So we have just spent 1million + on Lambert who i think will do well for us yet i see people have still voted for a pairing that doesnt include him. Have you people not seen our strikers play in the last couple of seasons. I do sometimes wonder what planet some people live on.
  24. So are they going to close thw Northam as well then. If this is true then it is well out of order.
