It seems there are a lot of these meetings going on this week - Zola,Oneil,Benitez to name a few. They are branded as season reviews / next season planning although more likely to establish if that paticular manager will be at that club next season. I would imagine that Pardews meeting will be the same and it may come up in that meeting that Mr Cortese is not happy thus ending the meeting with a parting of ways. The lack of response to these rumours IMO means nothing as it seems our leaders do not tend to speak to the press or the fans very often anyway. It would be nice for us to have a close season concentrating on trying to make our squad capable of gaining promotion rather than all this crap but hey we all know that supporting this club is never straight forward. I am sure there is something in this story as in Pardews solent interview when asked if he would be staying he said (exact words ) For my part yes i want too. I really hope Pardew stays but what our owners want we will find out soon.

Not exactly relevant but is showing support. I am looking for anyone who has 2 spare tickets for the Gillingham game, my own fault for not getting organised sooner.

So lets say we are still in league one and getting avge gates of 22k when the majority of other clubs are only getting between 5-10k we would lose out big style. The smaller clubs would all vote for this but the bigger clubs would not. I realise it would create to some degree a more level playing field but can you seriously see bigger clubs saying ok you can have half of our 1million gate receipts and we will have half of your 100k receipts.

Train up from kent to st pancras and then short tube journey to wembley park.Walked to green man and there at 9.30.Good pub and didnt have to wait too long to get served considering the number of people.Train back to kent after the game and then a 2 hour drive back to Eastleigh in the rain sunday night.

Decided to go and stay with my brother in law for the whole weekend who lives in kent. We will all travel up from Ashford on the bullet train. Only takes 38 mins to St Pancras and costs £20 including underground plus the advantage of the trains not being packed. Leaving on the 08.13 from Ashford arriving at St Pancras at 08.51 then hopefully in the green man by 09.30.

I have to agree that i see no evidence as to why we will get automatic promotion next season or even make the playoffs. Yes we will probably be a good side for league one but you will have 3 teams coming down who will all expect to go straight back up, you will also have The likes of Charlton,Huddersfield,Millwall,Bristol Rovers,swindon and more who will be targeting play offs at least and better. We have already proved we dont like playing away from home in the winter so what will change next year. We also do not know what our team will be next season so it is rather silly to claim we will go up. On paper this club should no doubt gain promotion with the resources available but this is real life people.

People need to get a grip. League one team looking to build 50k seater stadium.I think he is getting carried away by wembley sales .There are probably 30 other clubs above us with ambitions of reaching the premiership so if at all it could take 20 years. Having said all that i am pretty sure the council would welcome and encourage anyone wanting to re develop the area around SMS so who knows what is possible. In reality do we need it i think not.

It begs the question as to why some of you are getting so irate about us not getting promoted this year if you dont actually want us back in the prem. Should we ever gain promotion to the championship which is not guaranteed next season contrary to some beliefs, are people seriously going to want the club to be a mid table champ team.Can you imagine the hysteria after beating a couple of top teams and then lose another away game against Doncaster or someone to leave us 10 points adrift of the play offs and another manager out thread. We now have an owner who wants Premiership football to which we have all joined the journey to reach such dizzy heights. As much as we may all hate certain aspects of the prem is that not down to our jealousy of those clubs as we feel we should already be there.We cant have our cake and eat it, we cant moan about crap performances in league one and then the championship should we get there and then moan that we dont want to be in the prem anyway. I fully appreciate that some people will not be able to afford the premiership and all that it brings but at the moment guys that is just a pipe dream.

According to Network Rail there are NO Engineering works on the 28th. The reason the journey takes 2 hours is purely because of the Sunday timetable, more stops and slower trains. I will be on the 07.11 from Eastleigh arriving at 09.08
