You do realise whichever poor bastard gets the job if we fail to gain promotion we will all be doing this again next may.

For any of you who have heard interviews with cotterill i am surprised he gets a job anywhere. I think we should be realistic about who we will end up with, yes it was a surprise to get Pardew but to get MON would be as big a coup as the Keegan signing even if some dont think he is right for us.

I too think he was not as bad as some on here make out. He is used to a different style of football and was played in an unfamiliar position i believe. He will need a few games to adjust but i saw enough to believe he could be useful for us. I agree about harding having a go in the first half, give the poor bloke a chance for gods sake.

No its not as i have just got my tickets. They have only opened the kingsland centre and the northam. The itchen and chapel are both shut.I was told i may be able to move seats into the kingsland north tomorrow if they start opening those blocks.

Finally someone else who can see it for what it is. Martin needs a hell of a lot of work if he is to become any sort of league one defender. I appreciate safety must come first when playing at the back and he did an ok job on Tuesday but jesus christ it doesnt mean that you have to lump the ball in the stands at every opportunity. Jaidi is by far the better player at the moment, whether he will be in a years time is totally irrelevant. I have played with enough decent centre halves in my time to know that just because Martin may well be a yard quicker than Jaidi doesnt mean he is the better choice for us.

The pitch has been cutting up since the first game of the season, i believe it is to do with the new surface that the turfs were laid on as it is extremely sandy. Large areas of turf seem to come out when tackles are made (remember the plymouth guys bad challenge)

So has his clearance come through to play tonight ?

What influence has this new guy we employed from Fifa or wherever, wasnt he in marketing or something. Maybe this is his new brainwave.

I was catting to a steward on saturday and he told me they have been asked to look out for people taking photos from the stands and deal with them. He did say the mentioned large cameras with big lenses but who is to say what is a press camera and what is not. All a bit silly if you ask me.

We desperately need someone with power and pace as for me that is what we are lacking. I may of missed something but i thought they were still in admin and 130 million in debt so how did they afford a trip to the states recently, they also sold season tickets yet we were not allowed too. I may of missed some recent news on them as i really dont give a **** what happens to them but just thought it a bit strange. As for Paul Wotton he may not be the most gifted of players for us but you cannot fault his commitment or attitude.

You can continue the Stu bashing all you like but at the end of the day he is right that the club will not get as many season ticket holders as they would have if they had offered an installment plan. It doesnt bother me personally as i am a rich bugger but i do know of a couple of people who have not renewed because of this. Will all those who didnt still hand over the equivalent cash throughout a season, nobody will know.

My source tells me Beckam,Owen, Adu and that Argentinian bloke are all being put through there paces by Pardew away from the first team squad. The five of them have taken the picturesque mountain trains with the glass roofs all the way down to Montreaux to have their photos taken with Freddy Mercurys Statue.

The answer is simple, get the armed forces to completely wipe out that town at the other end of the M27 and re claim that as a suburb of southampton. We could build a new stadium and associated hotels / cafes and shops all under an SO postcode. It would have excellent transport links.

In our last season of the Championship the price was approx 20k for the centre and 22k for the wings which i thought made no sense at all as you always pay more in the centre but the woman i spoke to was adamant that was correct.
