I think he has a place for next season as he can play in a couple of positions and is comftorble on the ball whilst chipping in with the odd goal here and there and certainly laying on for others. How good will he be time will tell but i fail to see how he can be written off already. The problem is that too many have already decided he will be **** so as soon as he has a bad game or misplaces a pass they will be on him giving grief. I am afraid those idiots are going to have to get used to a lot of our players giving the ball away and not dominating like we have done in the past few seasons.

We will here from him at the end of the season after qualifying for the champions league and a cup double. He will be stood shoulder to shoulder with guardiola although giving him a frosty reception in front of the directors box as we celebrate on the pitch.

Well laugh at you if you think they will get 23 assists next season, most of the year we have been crying out for width and oh i forgot i am not allowed an opinion on here without being ridiculed by the masses. If we are going to play with these 2 defensive midfielders in the prem we will need our 2 fullbacks to provide a much better attacking option than they did last year. They really are going to have to get forward more and support the attack giving us that width we missed alot. We will get murdered if Fox and Richardson or whoever sit back with our 2 centre halves with cork and morgan sat in front of them. Positivity from our full backs for me is key to how well we do.

Young english players like Ince,Hooper,Rodrigues and Jarvis are probably what we are looking at but i would imagine we will be priced out of moves for these as they are not going to be good value when compared to foreign players. The problem with that is not many foreigners hit the ground running so can we afford to pay the over inflated prices or buy cheaper foreigners who may not make the required impact immediately. I believe we will also try and buy one or two older more experienced players to compliment our relatively young inexperienced squad so a mix of all three would be ideal but at what cost. We will probably break our transfer record for a couple but i doubt if we will spend big on several players leaving a free bee or two making up the numbers. We may have money but Cortese is not going to give Adkins 30mill to spend and i just hope we get our buisness done early this year.

Yes but by reducing that segregation releasing approx 100 or so extra tickets would kerb any need for stadium expansion surerly

Still dont understand why we need such a large segregation area in the Northam especially for a game like this. They could of reduced the netting size as stewards and coppers stand there anyway which would release a fair few extra seats.

Well this is what we all want, a few beers in the pub beforehand then watch a nailbiting game where i am bloody sure things will go pearshaped before we turn it round only for them to go wrong again. The radios wil be tuned for news with sham winning by 4 or 5 with us still needing a goal then along pops Guly to finish it with 5 minutes to go only for us to spend the last 5 mins in our own box hacking it clear with the screams and heart attacks everywhere in the stands.

There is a far more cost effective way of increaing capacity that would of satisfied the needs of all those who are missing out on the cov game. Reduce the size of the netting in the Northam as surely it doesnt need to be that wide.Its not like that at a lot of grounds and would give us at least another 100 tickets at £28 per game Problem solved as the stewards and old bill stand there anyway.

All those saying we sold out most weeks back in the prem are wrong. I may have a bad memory but i am pretty sure there were not that many complete sell outs every season. I remember going to many games where we only had mid to late twenties. I have read on here we averaged over 30,000 every season, well that may be so but there are then on average 2,000 empty seats per game. I am sure there will be a surge of interest should we go up but how long will that last.

After all there are 20 people looking for tickets on this site so surely we must expand.Seriously i do not see anything happening in the next few years as i reckon we will only sell out 50% of games next season. Of those games realistically how many more tickets would we sell, maybe a few thousand to the big clubs with increased away capacity that goes with it but does Southampton Football club have that many people waiting to watch us ?
