We have lacked big physical players who can win headers and put themselves about for years. It is the main reason we concede so many from set pieces. Even if we sign another CB it does not solve the issue that the other 8 outfield players are lightweight when it comes to aerial duals. It won’t matter how good this new set piece coach is if you have a team full of players who are not good in the air.

Saints do not set the pricing and rules for this. Its all governed by the league and TV deals I believe.

We need to sell more than just a couple to start bringing in new faces. Its not about the incoming money but as has been said many times we have too many players. Selling Lavia alone even for £50 million is not helpful unless we can shift a few of the wasters as well. We desperately need at least 3 or 4 new signings who will be good enough to start each week.
