There is simply no way in hell you'd go to jail for Death by dangerous driving if all you were doing was 40 in a 30 zone. I don't care if you killed the queen. Manslaughter is reserved for someone kicking a guy to death and saying "I didn't mean to kill him, it was just a good honest fight guv" I really can't see how you don't see the different between throwing a coin at an individual on a street or through it into a crowd. Whether you hit someone or not, the consequences of throwing it at a crowd, especially at a football match where tensions are high, are much more serious. Its called incitement. You could cause a riot by and a lot more damage by throwing anything at a crowd than you would at an individual on a street. That's what the authorities are trying to stop and why football related violence is punished more "regular" violence as you might call it. And don't bring back up your example about the Yeovil fan. The failure of the justice system in that instance to dish out a proper punishment to the Saints fan who committed the offence does not justify any other criminal in any other crime getting off lightly.

As an Irish football supporter I can wholeheartedly say that 99% of Irish people who don't want to see England win simply don't want to put up with the media bull**** it will cause. I wanted England to win on saturday night. I want them to go as far as possible in the tournament. Without Ireland in there it makes it a whole lot more interesting to see the players playing for England that I watch week in and week out (though I know this is somewhat redundant now with the amount of foreigners in the premier league). All my mates that I watched the match with in the pub feel the same way. However I simply can't abide the amount of tripe your tabloid media spouts. The expectation of winning, the hypocrisy of "getting behind the boys" and then ripping apart the culprit that "cost England the Cup" much like the reaction to Green's mistake. Its not the only thing your media does though. Very often (Andy Murray included) the english media will portray a scottish/irish/welsh sportsman/actor/celebrity as english if he's doing well, but as soon as he ****s up he reverts to his other nationality. Take for instance Darren Clarke. Northern Irish and British by birth, but as soon as he is playing badly, losing a Ryder Cup point or putting a foot wrong in his personal life he is "Ireland's Darren Clarke" according to the English media. Without wading through 10 pages to see if anyone has replied to this. I'm pretty sure the reason updates come at midnight (there's been quite a few now) would be because of the company who are hosting/maintaining our website. Planned stories like this could well be live but timed to appear on the front page when the date ticks over at midnight. Cheaper to get them to preplan like that, get the page designed and uploaded during the day before and let it all happen automatically over night

I'd imagine, much like an insurance claim after a car accident, the owner is entitled to have the car restored to exactly as it was before the incident, probably meaning buying new parts and the cost of the labour to fit them. Wing Mirrors are surprisingly expensive. I don't find that price shocking at all.

I remember him against Sheff Utd on the last day of the season 2 years back. He was head and shoulders above everyone else on the team. As for his role in the team. He could easily challenge for a place on the left wing and possibly even be a backup for left back. He's a quality player at this level and I think will be much better than he was in his last season for us under the proper guidence and management we have in place now.

You need a song that our own players can get used to, but still raises their adreneline when they hear it. It also needs to be a song that wouldn't be very familiar to the opposition. That's exactly why Carmina Burana doesn't work for anything, everyone knows it.
