  1. Of course they will.
  2. Hear Hear Sid Lowe and Guillem Balague also saying they think Pochettino is a very good manager Don't get me wrong, I'm as ****ed as everyone else about Adkins losing his job. But as Saint Clark says. We all said the same thing about Pardew when Adkins was appointed.
  3. That's working Dan, thanks!
  4. First thing we were thought about web design when I was doing programming course back in the day was never put red and black together.

    21 new signings to come!!!
  6. liked two things very much involving him today. When NA was giving him instructions after 20 minutes, he wasn't just saying yes yes, he seemed to ask questions to ensure he understood everything. Also very much liked the Guly arm around the shoulder at half time giving him advice.
  7. I don't agree that every team who's tried it has messed it up Charlie. I think the media make a scapegoat out of it. They don't like it for some reason, so when a goal is conceded through ZM they go to town on it. A lot of that comes from a lot of the older pundits who played when ZM didn't exist and can't change their mindset from man marking. Old people set in their ways.
  8. And this is the only reason he looked anyway decent last year. And the only reason he got anywhere near the team. Jay Spearing isn't even related to a footballer.
  9. Must have been a while since he did then. We're all about the guns in Limerick now.
  10. Totally off the pace of what's been discussed at the moment. But I just met a chap in Limerick (Ireland) who asked if I was a Saints fan based on my jersey. He wasn't wearing a deerstalker. Anyway, he's involved with Limerick City football club. He told me they're trying to get Saints to be the opening match next season for Limerick's return to The Market's Field ground. Saints were the last big team(with proper internationals etc) to play Limerick in european competition, so they're hoping that link will persuade Saints to come over for the marquee opening of the new era at the Stadium where Limerick had all their glory days back in the day. I hope Saints do this. Not just for selfish reasons (I grew up in Limerick and live 30 mins from the ground) but there is a lot of Irish Saints fans over here who'd come down and considering our ambition it would be a good way of building a bigger fan base in an area so close to home.
  11. Pretty sure Liverpool have mooted the idea already since the new Yanks took over. But it was shot down.
  12. Seems to have an awful lot of injuries though doesn't he? I know its been a couple of bad ones since joining, but I seem to remember reading an article about him in WSC a couple of years ago while he was still playing in the States and injuries being an issue even back then.
  13. I'm not sure they actually would TDD. Swiss Ramble wrote a great blog on them a couple of weeks ago. Debts greatly exaggerated because of various definitions of what constitutes debt and other aspects. http://swissramble.blogspot.com/2012/04/truth-about-debt-at-barcelona-and-real.html
  14. I can't believe people want to sign Paul Robinson. He's a terrible goalkeeper. Not just because he's playing in a poor side. Have you seen his stats? Poor, poor. Anyway, I've said this before, but as far as I'm concerned, Kelvin stays in goal for as long as he wants after the loyalty he showed when we were nearly going out of business. Add to that not only the fact that he was almost ever present in the team that came up, and gained 3 points on his own against Leeds, but he was voted the best keeper in the division. He deserves his chance. Buy someone to challenge him by all means, but buying a keeper is far from a necessity.
  15. To be honest, I don't care. This club is rebuilding still. It would be great to stay up, but I think the important thing is to keep faith in NA no matter what. If we finish 20th I don't want to hear a single person calling for his head. He not only deserves a full year in the Prem, if we're relegated he deserves a chance to get us promoted again. Changing managers gets clubs no where, stability is the key and we have the right man for the job if we can hold onto him.... no matter what.
  16. Seriously?
  17. I'd not heard that story before for some reason. Seems to me he knew he was passing and he was giving NC a message. You have time Nicola. I do not.
  18. Anyone have MLTs reactions from Sky Sports News?
  19. No its not once in 45 games. We weren't 1-0 up with our backs to the wall in 45 games this season. That's why we've been in the top two since day 1 I wonder do any of you take the time to sit down and listen to yourselves
  20. Ah, no we're not
  21. Do I like the team I support more than I hate their rivals? If the answer to that is No for anybody, they're idiots.
  22. Yeah, welled up a couple of times reading this earlier and had to stop each time. My own little girl playing in front of me. Don't know how lucky we are. I can't begin to imagine what they're still going through. He's dealt with it all so bravely and with such dignity. I really hope he goes on to be a success at our club.
  23. heh heh, cheeky git. I'd normally agree. Apple processors can't support flash and its ridiculous. And Adobe shouldn't change Flash to suit them. But Apple sold something like 15.6 Million ipads in the last quarter alone. With those kind of numbers, web designers should provide a non flash option on all sites.
  24. Its ridiculous with Apple Devices as prevalent as they are that the company who provide Saints, and so many other websites, don't offer a non-flash alternative for the webplayers. Not specific to their company I realise, its a general problem that companies are still using Flash
  25. Posting from the back of the ambulance. My heart gave in. I was full sure after Football Focus piece this morning that Lambert was going to miss that first pen.
