I really thought I was the only person who said that

No offence taken music dude, and none meant. I've been responding in the same manner to these rumours from every body

Well... I do live in a different country. I don't care how he said it. To call a standard announcement (albeit said 3 times) and stewards and police taking up a position to do a job incitement is beyond laughable. If I'm in a kebab shop at 3am and there's a few cops outside on the beat, is their presence incitement for me to punch some guy or throw something throw a window? Or do I have to wait until they tell me not to do that before it becomes incitement?

Half the people on this board are sure Pardew is going to be sacked. It doesn't make it true. Maybe we should start a new thread just for the facts we have. I get the feeling it wouldn't be a very long one

Oh My God! The announcer didn't just Double Dare, but he Triple Dared them? They had to do it!!!
-
They also reported that Barnard wasn't included today because he couldn't play against his own club, and that's bull****. It was on the bloody OS during the week that he was trying to get his ankle in order to be fit to play in the game. So how ITK could they be?
-
They also reported that Barnard wasn't playing today because he wasn't allowed to play against his former club, which is bull****. The article on the OS this week said he was trying to get his ankle ready to face them.

I people just want to believe the rumours that point to bad news rather than the fact that negates it.

We've gotten a perfectly good, and seemingly legitimate, explanation from Alain Perrin above as to why there are no programs today, and people seem to be ignoring it. Some people don't seem to be happy unless they have something to worry about. Windmill Arm is right... drama queens

The Official Summer Transfers and HCDAJFU Thread

I see Joey Gudjonsson has been released from Burnley -
Ah I see, took you up wrong. Apologies

Rather than to a fringe player in a club a division lower than Swansea and Cardiff??? Madness!

I think you're way overestimating what he's earning there. A bit part player signing for a poor club in the Championship at the start of what has become a recession. First of all you're assuming that there has been inflation for the last 4 years. As well as that, one of the things Rupert always did right was the have relegation wage cuts in player's contracts. And even then, I can't see that Pulis would have been anywhere close to the average football earner. He was coming in as a squad player in, as I said, a very poor club. And even still, that sort of money per annum, while a vast amount compared to what most of us earn, isn't going to make him super rich. We can't possibly paint him in the same colours as the modern prem footballer. He's earning this type of money (albeit undeserved because he's alledgedly ****) for a very small period of his life. He's not going to go and retire for good aged 35, he's going to have to get a real job earning whatever money he can get. The above wages for champ and league 1 footballers are not capable of sustaining someone for life.

I'm pretty sure that throwing stones at people is beyond threatening behavior. Picking up a stone and saying "I'm going to throw this at you" is threatening behaviour.
-
I'm pretty sure none of those are actual offences. So what actual offences do you think the above acts would allow them to be charged with?
-
What offence are you referring to that normally is only met with an £80 fixed penalty?
-
He understands and knows more about it than you do though

If the amount of creditors has been inflated (as it seems from various listed creditors claiming they are no longer owed money) doesn't that mean that HMRC's percentage of the unsecured debt is most likely higher that 25%? Rather than simply listing all creditors that the club MAY owe money to based on invoices found, maybe the idea was to use that as an excuse to bump up the amount of money owed in order to push HMRC under the magic 25% number.

I can't remember the figure for the Kaboul transfer, but lets say it was 5 Mill at a guess... then I think it worked like this. Spurs offered £5 Mill for Kaboul and Begovic. Begovic refused to sign a contract, but Spurs still paid the full amount on condition that if Begovic transferred to another club they get £1 of the transfer fee. I know it sounds stupid, but its the only way I can make sense out of it.

I'm sure plenty fans of big teams said the same about matches against us when we were in the premiership fighting for our lives

People booing? seriously? booing? I don't know. hope it was at the ref

Not while actually playing I think. But he was with them if I remember correctly... Wasn't it a car crash? Maye be was him that suffered with the narcolepsy
-
ok, I'll ask here instead... Is Flahavan in goals for Oldham the guy with the narcolepsy?
