Am I the only one who thinks everything which leads up to topics like this is because of certain media outlets? C'mon people, I think we all know that Muslims mostly don't preach DEATH TO THE UK without being arrested, like anyone else would. Most have quiet peaceful protests about certain issues. Just newspapers and the internet jump on it so fast that the situation isn't the same one once they are finished editing it. You always here about "Oh, we can't say it's Christmas anymore, as it will offend people", that usually is one over-zealous think tank council member who's idea gets shot down by the others at the first sensible opportunity, but people read the stories that the newspapers have spun, and thus is born ignorance. Please people, let's get a ****ing clue. This 'solution' won't help one bit.

Played a couple of games with the demo. Noticed that the power up when you shoot or cross when sprinting have disappeared for some reason. Wouldn't understand why EA got rid of it, but hey, you can feel how powerful the shot is anyway. Headers are much easier to score I've found. Running to the byline and crossing across the box is the way I've been scoring most in my games. I haven't really noticed the 360 dribbling yet. I think I've only found something that resembles it when I am defending and haven't got the ball. Every pass is much less automated by the game, so you actually have to pay attention to where you are aiming the ball. The new animations are really top notch, a highlight for me was when Xavi was running the ball near the corner flag to fly in a cross, Bosingwa actually jumped and threw his back in the way of it. I don't know why everyone is saying they are giving away free kicks too easily, I don't think I've given away more than 4 in about 5 matches. Overall, nothing game changing happened from last year, which is probably a good thing.

I'm going to say that Michael McIntyre is the funniest at the moment. Then again, he's popular in the public opinion, so I'm expecting everyone to shout me down.

Got Sky Movies a couple of weeks ago... so quite alot of reviews as I have had holiday time and been gorging on movies. I will only rate out of 10, without going into further details. Eastern Promises - 8/10 In Bruges - 8/10 Big Lebowski - 9/10 There Will Be Blood - 7/10 (10/10 for Daniel Day Lewis' performance as Daniel, but the movie definitely had some scenes which were desperately calling out for an editor) Big Country - 7/10 Superhero Movie - 2/10 Meet the Spartans - 0/10 No Country for Old Men - 9/10 Iron Man - 7/10 Spiderman 3 - 4/10 Mr Wood**** - 6/10 (much better than I was expecting) Hitman - 5/10 Never Back Down - 5/10 Semi-Pro - 3/10 Chaplin - 7/10 The Krays - 3/10 Death Proof - 4/10 ... annnnd that's about it.

The amount of WUM's in this thread is staggering.

Just for more depth really, could be better than the players we have in that position as he's highly rated at Fulham. It would mainly be getting him to come down two leagues which would be the problem.

Gah. I forgot to put the reasoning behind why I bought the games on steam. Mainly as it linked to your account, you'll always have a digital copy of those games to play long after your PS3 and 360 are gone. I miss certain games from the PS2 era already that I'd pick up on Steam if they had it on offer. I can see me a good couple of years later from now being satisfied by playing GTA4 and Bioshock on an amazing PC since I've thrown the PS3 out after getting the PS5, or Xbox 1020.

GTA4 on the PS3 and then I bought it on Steam when it was half price or something. Bioshock on the 360 then on Steam again when it was going for about 3 quid. Hitman Blood Money on PS2, then on Steam on PC once again. In a slight reverse, I also bought Fallout 3 on PS3 after having the game crash so much on me on my PC version! (Oh sure, you run 'Crysis' at high settings fine, but you can't make Fallout work?)

Yeah, you can only get him on PS3. I can't stand exclusive downloadable content. It's out August 28 I think.
