Cheers, I've noted the 21 days as a benchmark. Added 18 months as the maximum time a club can be in Admin too (as if). There's got to be more than just this ? Anyone got an information on League rules re: various stuff like the golden share, voting rights ?
  2. You hit "S" ????

  4. Quite presumptuous, the Blue Sq Prem has a full complement of teams and fixtures are out on July 2nd. We might be back in exclusivity... and have no players by then.
  5. As if the FL would turn down money on a matter of principle !!? Also, as the bidding process is sealed bids made by the tv channels and there's no possibility of the cost going up unless the channel itself chooses to offer more.
  6. Red cross is right. Emergency aid.
  7. Other than Red Bull Salzburg in Austria and New York Red Bulls in MLS, you mean ? How does Red Bull Saints strike you, are we desperate enough for that now ?
  8. In which case we'd expect Fry to be announcing someone else in exclusivity as soon as possible... or a winding up order.
  9. Yeah, he's still an attention-seeking troll, and it still isn't worth another thread, either way.
  10. People keep posting stuff like this, and they keep missing the point. This isn't about -10, we're at LEAST going to get nailed with -10. This is now about the CVA, not having one because we're not legally required to, and another -15, and the likelihood of anyone buying a club likely to begin on -25 (if at all). Or it might possibly be about money men pulling out and people with preferred treatment struggling to replace them. Who knows ?
  11. I'm much, MUCH, more offended by the incorrect use of the word "effect" when the poster meant "affect", as it happens. Even more than the truly rubbish effort at a joke.
  12. Brilliant. Every time I think we've already outed all the thickies another one springs up with some half-baked nonsense.
  13. Callum Best.
  14. I'm more bothered about my gitlfriend's cat going missing. Oh, and Saints, but I'm dealing with that particular uncertainty for now. And yes, conspiracy theorists, he's proper dead. Open coffin live tv funeral on sadlife tv should see to that. Or maybe he could fulfil the tour dates and everyone gets a stick to poke him with? Anyway, she's called Molly, grey and black tabby, friendly but cautious, pink collar with a heart on it, last seen in the Curdridge area, jumping the fence ino next door. Has not left the garden before.
  15. Worst punctuated thread title ever. Hey, pedantry and grammar, now it's an official takeover thread!
  16. ...in between the heroin.
  17. If I have Saturdays free I'm going to spend them on here, linking the other (minimum) two "what will you do on Saturdays?" threads to this one.
  18. Mood is bored.
  19. Just do what most others do and ignore them. It's tedious trolls and "ner-ner" merchants like him who make this place annoying rather than just informative. Especially the ones who take a reasonable angle and boringly contort it with a dash of prejudice and a pinch of bile...
  20. Shame we couldn't decide if we were bouncing back or cutting costs in 2005/6 really...
  21. Nice starting point, here are some since Dec 08... Darlington Feb 2009 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/d/darlington/7909576.stm Saints (cough) April 2009 http://www.begbies-traynor.com/appointment%20to%20southampton%20leisure%20holdings%20plc/494 Stockport May 2009 Chester City May 2009 (and now-non-League Halifax Town in 2008) http://www.begbies-traynor.com/halifax%20town%20association%20football%20club%20placed%20under%20administration/347
  22. Not half as much as we're looking forward to seeing you lot (or anyone else in League One for that matter). I honestly haven't seen much in the way of "holier than thous", though there are a few who think we deserve special treatment because we're Saints irrespective of anything ! I think mostly people are a bit dumbstruck that the FL is taking the line they have with a club who aren't legally in administration (I think a lot of people are now resigned to the -10 even with the Stockport argument considered) and for that reason also can't provide the appropriate method of exiting admin to suit the FL. We've got a ten point deduction in the "spirit" of the law, and we've got a buyer and that satisfies the creditors, which is all the CVA achieves. The FL wants its cake and eat it, spirit of the law for our not-legally-in-administration-but-we'll-say-they-are-to-avoid-loopholes punishment, but letter of the law for having no CVA even though the creditors are happy with the takeover. Of course the worst part is that additional punishment makes the club unsaleable...
  23. I've never agreed with a post more !
  24. As Saints would, in that case, have rather a lot of their own memorabilia to sell to pay creditors, I would be inclined to say "we buy lots more".
  25. I'd have to say we should try and stick at the highest level we possibly can, deduction or not. I don't necessarily think it's easier to stay in a League with a -25 deduction than it is to get promoted from Div 4, but with the way we've been the past few seasons I think I'm more inclined to think hanging on to whatever we can is the way to go. Just in terms of attendances alone there's more money in League One, and who knows whether we can afford to employ even our ex-Academy players on Div 4 money ?
