  1. His dad DID run the line at Moneyfields against Pompey Online... hmmm...
  2. Can I get it done after my next physio appointment ?
  3. Anyway, The9 Issues Come And Get Me Plea The9 was quoted today as saying "Oi, I'm out of contract, come and get me..." I think football would be a lot better if players just did this. Alternatively I could just say "It is categorically untrue the away team made an offer to try to persuade Tevez The9 to stay" "The fact of the matter is Tevez The9 hasn't asked for any amount of money and hasn't been offered any amount of money - that's where we are at the moment" Team-mate Wayne Rooney Baj believes Fergusonnickh should make TevezThe9 a permanent player. He commented: "He is a world-class player and you always want to see him playing here. "I enjoy playing with him so hopefully he can stay. "He has a lot of energy and he has scored a lot of vital goals for us this season. His work rate is brilliantbetter than mine, let's not go nuts here so hopefully he will sign. I would like him to."
  4. Actually thanks to leaving it 3 seasons before I "unretired" after my last game in South Wales I didn't need international clearance to play in England in 2007 and I don't need it now. Though I did come within a few months of needing to apply for international clearance in order to play in the Meon Valley Sunday League, bizarrely.
  5. My registration is held in England. And stop trying to wind me up. Nice to see that my £650k "admin fee" is the only sticking point for the deal though...
  6. Great, I must be getting a massive signing on fee if THAT'S the deal...
  7. Sensible World of Soccer had loads of top leagues and all of the feeder divisions in major countries too, so not that much of a mystery - and even basic Sensi had Prem teams at the very least... Using that theory applied to SWOS I'm a Zalghiris Vilnius and Skonto Riga fan... :smt060
  8. Note also that we had two injured players on the pitch for about 5 minutes at the end of the first half in similar circumstances - or would have done had Baj not collapsed in a heap and then run off the pitch before I could get off myself!
  9. I am clearly trying to orchestrate a transfer to further my career.
  10. Phil's report was great, apart from getting the timing of our 2nd and 3rd goals the wrong way around (there might have been a bit more debate about the taker if I was already on the hat-trick at that point!) and not noticing the "loose ball" for their 3rd came from a 50 yard clearance by their goalie when we were clean through. You have to wonder about the accuracy of his "legitimate substitution" report based on this alone !!! Funny read nevertheless. I am greatly looking forward to the two post-match manager interviews if they're on the DVD.

    press conference

If we appointed Le Tiss as manager I think I'd stop going. It's a Newcastle-esque piece of b0ll0cks fan appeasement that shows fan pandering idiocy in lieu of actually appointing the best suited person for the job. Up there with the Redknapp decision (admittedly with the benefit of hindsight on that one) in terms of being made for all the wrong reasons. Apart from anything else I don't want to think of Le Tiss badly in any footballing terms.
  12. Given that 1 in every 365.25 footballers ever born in the History of the Earth should have been born on that day I'd say that's a pretty shoddy return. I am shocked to discover that Rai is 44 though, even if he was at his peak 15 years ago.
  13. Oops, that'll teach me to scan-read other people's posts about who they want to get promoted (lots of Gillingham and Rochadale talk), and I saw Shrewsbury celebrating on SSN as well !
  14. We've already established that the going rate for that was a fiver from the Forum match last week.
  15. Thanks to my former life as a Newport County fan until 1989 I've only got 14/23 new grounds to go to (and I've seen 5 of them from the outside already)... and a better Saints fan than me would have checked Scunny, Tranmere, Oldham and Exeter already (maybe P'boro?) too. Peterborough MK Dons Sc'nthorpe Tranmere Southend Huddersfield Oldham Colchester Walsall (been to Fellows Park tho) Stockport Hartlepool Carlisle Exeter Gillingham/Shrewsbury Thanks to my groundhopping plans if Saints go pop I'm going to be adding a few more grounds next season whether we exist or not.
  16. You appear to have missed the post about Swansea winning the Best Pitch award...

    Megastore.

You appear to have already answered this but just in case... any yellow ones from the "1976 limited edition release" season when they didn't release the proper yellow kit with the sponsor on it ?
  18. I'm pretty sure she's already lost hers.
  19. Good and optimistic angle, to claim its being cancelled because "it's not required" is laughable when only 1500 tickets had shifted and we're still in admin until someone ACTUALLY buys us.
  20. I was ready to buy 2 and held off to see if they'd open the Northam, but £20 each is a lot of money for a kickaround featuring people who can't do what they used to be good at any more.
  21. Nice to know we're still working through the on-field side of things, though to be actually considering Liptak having seen him play is an horrific prospect.
  22. Surely everyone's already been to Yeovil and Swindon ? We've played them both in pre-season in the last 4 years. Carlisle's where the kudos lies...
  23. Oh was that you ? Cost me a hat-trick AND a top-corner screamer, y'sod. I'm only messing re: the Hamster "tackle", it mostly missed.
  24. Ugh, rugbish.
