I was and still am very angry that Alcaraz was sold.

Why do the combined on and off target shots not equal the total shots for either side?
-
Brighton leading City 2-1. Fair play to them. Kind of takes the shine off our wondrous 1-0 defeat given they're on track to lose 4 on the trot now. I hope we don't bring out our embarrassing "Pride of the South" banner next matchday.

It was just people making stuff up.

9 losses in 11. Utterly depressing reading. He should have gone after Bournemouth. Then the new man might have had an opportunity to get more than 3 points out of Leicester, Everton and Wolves. SR have allowed RM to inflict too much damage on our season.

Didn't he say he was involved in brokering the deal? A nice bonus would be part and parcel.

There shouldn't be any days left.

I don't understand why he's still here. Is the plan to get relegated with Martin, lose all our best players and then arrogantly assume we'll get promoted again? Even if, somehow, we were to get promoted, is the plan to let Martin continue to inflict his philosophy on us and relegate us again? He's not the long term solution if the ambition is to establish ourselves in this league. The only conclusion I can come to is that's not the ambition.

I can't watch this ponderous shit.

What were you thinking!?

Russell out. Please.

I hope Suhari chose the BJ bar.

This is the concern. We're playing the team that's condeded the most goals this season by some distance and we're looking pretty toothless. I think we've been shafted by VAR but that has been our only moment. Jose Sa hasn't had to make a save.
-
We're far too predictable. I can spot our next pass seconds before we make it.
-
Probably the only way he'd keep us up.
-
Good response. Edit: Oh just seen the recent comments 😂
-
Setting us up in such a way that Lallana and Dibling won't play together is missing a trick IMO.

What a shock 😱

Interesting point about a lack of voices in teams willing to speak up. I always got the impression clubs of yesteryear had a manager as well as leaders within the playing squad that had the influence to impress onto the manager the sentiment and views of the team. That the playing squad had some influence on how they would like to play whereas now, it feels like players prefer to have their hands held and be told what to do. I can't imagine anyone in our squad going"wait a minute, is this really the way to win a football match?". I'm sure many of them have thought it though.

I wouldn't expect them to say anything else as professionals. Don't want to get on his bad side either given he picks the team.
-
I think most are resigned to sports republic sticking with Russell regardless of what happens. There's no doubt in my mind he'll relegate us.
-
Every pundit pretty much says the same thing about how we play.
-
Getting Russell's excuses in early?
-
Yes. They are.

This was described as a very important game and this is what we've served up. No excuses today.
