I fucking hate Russball.
-
Armstrong too honest there.
-
Frankly, this is utter crap.
-
We're offering no attacking threat at the moment.
-
Aribo just passes back the way it came from. Put us under pressure a couple of times now.
-
We're causing our own problems here
-
Good save Ramsdale. What the hell were we thinking trying to play our way out of that situation?!
-
Oh dear. Russ won't last long if doesn't get ruthless soon.
-
-
Really? I wouldn't.
-
Russell specifically said Ward-Prowse wasn't a target a few days ago so it seems we never actually made an offer.
-
That's some decent profit.

Not sure they'll do that if they want to continue allowing fans outside at half time. They can't check everyones tickets as they come back in for the second half.
-
Didn't stop Ross Stewart.
-
If this does go through, getting him registered in time for Brentford seems very unlikely now.
-
I'd rather that than playing the season with McCarthy as first choice and Lumley as backup. Lumley will be number 2 if this deal doesn't happen anyway.
-
Setford is an 18 year old with no senior appearances. They won't settle with him as no. 2. Perhaps we can offer them McCarthy.

That's why FA Cup replays gave way and they've been given comfortable League Cup ties. They'll be asking to abolish the League Cup altogether soon while simultaneously lobbying for Premier League fixtures to be played in the USA and Saudi Arabia.

Yeah, I wonder if the goalkeeper fiasco threw a spanner in the works for the Alberto deal, given they wanted an £18m obligation. Have there been any other striker links? Presumably, we'll looking for someone with that profile. I just hope we haven't left it too late.

2 weeks.

My feeling is we still lack a genuine CF but Russells remarks about playing Armstrong in the middle was laying the groundwork for a winger coming and no striker.
-
Dibling was the best player on the pitch last night for me. I think he's ready to start.

What's the registration cut-off for Ramsdale to be available for Brentford?
-
It could also mean Ramsdale was a complete flop, injured or that Russell Martin lost the plot. Bazunu won't be displacing Ramsdale any time soon based only on his ability. Personally, I don't see Bazunu realising his potential here. When was the last time we signed a young goalkeeper with promise and they developed enough to become our number 1? It didn't happen with Bialkowski, Gazzaniga or Gunn. Gazzaniga had some more middle steps where he played a backup role and got some minutes at Spurs (thanks to a Lloris injury) and Fulham but ultimately failed to be a true number 1 until he joined Girona at the age of 30. Bialkowski and Gunn didn't reach their early promise and became decent Championship goalkeepers. Bazunu needs multiple seasons on loan before he MIGHT be ready for Premier League football. He'll go the same way as the others.
