I'm as gutted as everyone on here that we have thrown away 3 points today and a chance to put some serious daylight between us an the bottom three. However the over blown negativity coming from the majority on the post match thread needs, I think, tempering a little. We have held a fellow relegation threatened team away from home and still sit 3 points above the relegation zone, plus our goal difference is superior. Look at Aston Villa today, letting slip a 3-1 lead and who still sit in the bottom three. It could be worse lads! We are playing good football, the results will come. As long as we keep taking points off those around us we should be fine.

I just bumped into Nigel outside my local shop, he was out walking with his wife. I said to him I was totally gutted about what has happened, he said that he was too. I said that I wished him all the success in the world for what he does next and that saints fans will never forget what he has done for the club. He thanked me and was just a humble and decent guy, as he has been throughout his time with the club. Seems a pretty tedious policy. If the player is not available through injury then he cant have any impact on the the opposition or the match, full stop. It doesnt make the blindest bit of difference, just annoys and misinforms the supporters.
