That was certainly wasn't as straight forward as i'd hoped, but what a winner from Pelle. Great win. COYR!!!

How about, to the tune 'Light my Fire' by The Doors: Camembert Brie White Cheshire.
-
...penalty to Boro.... SCORED!!!!!
-
We were slick going forward and assured at the back, terrific performance by every saints man out there tonight. Very proud of SFC, what a team we have!! Bournemouth at home next please.....

Ruddy hell, your glass is half empty, isn't it. Have you ever been optimistic about saints? I doubt it.
-
Thank you Markus, I am eternally grateful.

Saints reject bid from Cardiff for José Fonte

We can't surely contemplate selling any more regular starting IX players before we have brought in replacements (which improve us in those positions), can we? -
How about wait until we see who the club bring in this summer before writing off the whole season?
-
Johnson sure does scare the hell out of me too, caught out of position so many times it isn't funny. If someone can let me know how he's a better player than Clyne then let me know. I'd more or less go with what you said Batman, plus keep Henderson in next to Gerrad over Wilshire and Lampard. It's staggering how offer Wilshire gets caught in possestion and the Italians will Madame us pay for that in the middle of the park.

Christ, if we find ourselves relying on this back four we are fooked!
-
Thought it was, Rooney instead. Lambert assist with his hand perhaps.
-
I heard that. Commentator could barely wait to say it, you could almost hear the pleasure he got in saying it. I noticed he didn't say "Shaw of Southampton" when he touched the ball soon after.
-
Anyone know where Rickie ends up in Saints all-time goal scorers list? I know his goal to game ratio of 1:2 will certainly be hard to beat.
-
Lordy. That was, well, an interesting piece. Keep up the good work *cough*
-
The commentary from Andy Townsend after the Sturridge goal made me laugh: "Goal scorers like Sturridge are priceless!..." I'd say they are more like £4 mil + add ons.
-
Funny you should say that. My wife was working down at St Mary's today and said that staff there are feeling pretty low as a result of the happenings since the end of the season. Apparently the Lambert news has knocked staff there for six.

I couldn't agree with you more Nick

Pretty much sums up the situation as it stands. I feel sick to the stomach the way our team is being torn apart. After a season of so many highs, to feel this low is ridiculous.
-
Done. I wish you guys the best of luck as the fortunes of our clubs could have been so different had sisu got their hands on saints instead of ccfc. The support shown by your fans at the final game of the championship season a year and a half ago was immense considering the polarised fortunes our two clubs were experiencing that day. Good luck mate.

I disagree with this, Saints are the example of what happens when you regularly field young, talented English players week in, week out rather than buying in a team of foreign jonnys. It's because we put 6-7 Englishman on the pitch each game that so many are being ear-marked with chance to go to Brazil, unlike most prem teams who put out 1 or 2.

Give that man a job. A very decent effort and would live to sing that at the next match.

Gets my vote.

I think we can safely say Gaston will feature on Saturday.

He certainly is our new dead ball specialist, his delivery is what we lacked at set-pieces last season.
