I'd take Frank Lampard even if he is 37 years old, seeing as he's being treated like dogsh*t at NY.
-
I notice you're not the brightest spark. Reed didn't have Cortese's job, meaning full control, until Cortese put him place before he exited.
-
That isn't what Wenger said yesterday. Don't ask me to find the quote. I read it randomly browsing. But he could have been named today 100%. Cazorla was supposed to be a doubt aswell and he was named. Edit: found the article: http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/arsenal-vs-norwich-santi-cazorla-alex-oxlade-chamberlain-line-return-1557401

Spot....on.
-
Ox ain't even on the Bench for the Arsenal.
-
He let both situations drag on for far too long. Should have got them sorted on Extensions at the minimum. Look at Levy at Spurs..just got poch on a 2 year extension..without relying on a "Gentlemans f*cking word". I don't believe for one second we couldn't have kept Clyne. He could have left for Arsenal the year before and he stayed. Poch is debateable as Cortese leaving was probably the catalyst there but again a bit more pro-activeness and we might have kept him on board. We had the finances to offer him a ridiculous wage and why shouldn't we have done?.. We've only let the best manager we've ever had walk out the door. Let's now have the encore for Koeman, because we all know it's going to happen. Reed is a clown.
-
The man is a complete clusterf*ck imo. Not just Toby. The way he handled the Poch & Clyne situation was diabolical. He has literally NO IDEA when the train is coming until the wheels are grinding over his face.

Aston Villa leading 2-1 the entire game.. Chucked 2 goals in the last 3 minutes.
-
You're dire.
-
Also like to see Leicester win for obv reasons.
-
Would like to see Arsenal win today because I think Chelsea will probably beat Spurs on monday. And it's not impossible for Arsenal to overtake Spurs either.
-
to be fair.. I don't see how that's Cortese's fault. He could have just walked out, shut the door and whistled into his car never to be seen again without appointing anyone at all. Doesn't make Les Reed any less of a clown. It's who we winded up with.

Alex Chamberlain available in the summer?
Ice2Eskimos replied to Saint Charlie's topic in The Saints
True. But Fonte does need to be at least a bit careful about what he allows to dribble out of his cakehole because that does smack of tapping up quite strongly and is leaving us open to Arsenal making a claim about it and lets face it.. It doesn't take much for Arsene Wenger to start moaning does it? -
Not under the current board no chance. Under Cortese yeah probably. But we messed it up with Cortese aswell and ended up with this clown Les reed. P.S Ron absolutely should NOT be sacked purely on stats. He's done a decent job imo.
-
Look.. If Koeman starts that game, that would be as clear a signal as any that he's not commiitted to the club. In that case...Les should pay off his final year and say goodbye as soon as the final whistle blows in the final match this season and get someone else suitable in who's committed for at least 5 years. Fed up with us being backed into a corner all the f*cking time just because the board naively believes "talks are positive". Let's face it..Les comes out with that line every single time it's abundantly obvious we're about to get barrelled. But Les comes out with: "Talks are positive". F** positive..are you signing or not?..if not do one. I want Koeman to stay, I think he fits our club philosophy's perfectly, but I'm sorry, it's about time we grew a pair of b*llocks.
-
This is the issue as I see it and it worries me. Les Reed, imo, shouldn't give Koeman any funds until Koeman clarifies in no uncertain terms if he's staying or not. Obviously make Koeman aware that he will be backed but it's contingent on him committing to the club. And by "staying" I mean signed a new deal and the Ink is dry on the paper. That being said...imo, Koeman needs to clarify his future for the sake of the fans. Most of us want him here.
-
He's useless in the Prem. He's shone in the Championship because that's about his level.
-
Spot on.
-
Honestly hope we batter them to give Pellegrini some food for thought about coming to us should we find ourself without koeman.
-
Well that just sh*t on toast that is!! Hope they f*king go down next season. Hope they have a shocker.
-
I swear to god you're not really a Saints fan. Yes..lets allow our manager to stall and get completely done over...again.
-
Ex-f*king-actly. This season has been a freak of a season on all fronts. Poch probably knows in the back of his head they've overachieved this season given how diabolical the usual suspects have been. The fans expectations will be through the roof. 2 months into this one they were calling for his head.
-
Bit 1 sided but ok. On a side note. I notice the Potato's are taking the p*ss out of Le Tissier on FightingCock and getting all up their own arses about Poch's verbal agreement. Honestly I'll flipping wet myself if he walks. Poch said the same thing to us then walked out the door. Do you honestly think other clubs are going to let arguably one of the Top 5 managers in World football sign a 5 year contract without at least having a go themselves?.. When the ink is signed and dry on Levy's desk I'll honor my bet but F'me we're a long way away from that.
-
Let's make it interesting.. IF I'm right...YOU have to make a grovelling pathetically apologetic thread to Ice2Eskimos. And I'll do the same if I'm wrong. Rather do that than risk my hard earned dollars, and right now..my leg is in a plaster cast so skint at mo.

If you think there is no hidden agenda behind that comment then....
