No but there's there's a reason he was on loan there in the first place
-
I wouldn't get too caught up on Spence. He's got an attitude problem, which is probably what has held him back at Spurs. Not the sort of profile we would go for imo
-
I'm genuinely starting to have concerns about the ownerships intentions. Starting to look a lot like asset stripping

Which is ironic given your user name

Wouldn't read too much into that. Che probably knows his bread is buttered no matter what happens.
-
In a way it's good to see the prudence of board accepting that no championship club should be letting 15m go for free - Blackburn did it with Bereton-Diaz and it got them nowhere. Having said that, I do hope Wilcox has a cut off point that selling Che will have too much impact on our promotion chances. 15m isn't worth much to us if it's 1st September the next day.
-
At 15m I don't think this will go down well with the fans. Wilcox and the board have had a good sense of the mood music so far, but they're wide of the mark with this one.
-
Che would be in a much better position smashing this season and letting his contract expire - leaving or staying. As for 15m, I seem to remember we had to pay that amount for Arma when he was in the last year of his contract - and that was before the market madness.

We bought Hoedt in the summer. I'm not defending Les, but with Carrillo he was between a rock and a hard place. With hindsight we can say he's garbage, but if we hadn't bought him in the Jan window in the Jan, the backlash would arguably been have been worse.

Ryan Bertrand - not fit to be captain, a disgrace

If we get relegated we're not getting 30m for anyone. We'll have no bargaining power whatsoever. -

Aren't all away tickets capped at £30? -
They don't. We accepted and received compensation for Potechino and Koeman and Puel was sacked.
-
He would have had to pay his contract up in full, with his personal funds. Everton wouldn't have been allowed to pay it.
-
I think the first one. Genuinely don't see what he's got to lose, if we get relegated it's hardly pinned on him but if we stay up he looks like a god.
-
Would take Hughes until the end of the season then rebuild come what may. What have they got against Silva? Not even on the shortlist (which must be very short) according to Wilson.
-
I think he's been told that he has to play 4-2-3-1, don't all academy teams play it? What I don't understand is why he would destroy his reputation by allowing tactics to be dictated to him, surely if you're going down you'd rather do it via your own ideas and methods than Les or Ralphs - and still get all the blame.
-
Thought Remond was shocking. The one time he decided to run in and behind he created something. Bertrand must be f**ked off, he's basically the only one down the left if Redmond starts.
-
He will (amazingly) start with exactly the same cautious set up he has for his last 29 PL games, and the result will be the same. 1-1.
-
Would rather Forster AND McCarthy start and have two between the sticks.
-
You can guarantee it will be the same formation/line-up that started against Burnley. He doesn't seem to learn. Should start Sims, Gabbi, Carillo & Boufal and have a f**cking go at them!
-
Given the fact he's almost certainly going to be sacked at the end of the season whatever happens, it's odd they've chosen to persevere with him.
-
I have moments where I think maybe things have gone against pellegrino, maybe we haven't invested enough, maybe he does need time to develop. Then he does something like that team sheet and I think "he genuinely doesn't know what he's doing"
-
Definitely the best we'll get in the situation we're in, but longer term I'm not so sure. Think it was poor from him to try and leave Watford after, what, four months? Raises questions about his attitude, perhaps that's why we ruled him out first time around.
-
I don't think it's that at all. Not matter how intelligent he is, you can't expect him to score when you bring him on 87mins in to every game. No issue scoring under claude with essentially the same attacking players. Mismanaged by Pellegrino imo.
-
In fairness he's never had a decent run in the team anywhere he's been. You'll probably say that tells you everything, but I disagree. Strikers need games to develop form, & he's got a much better game to goal ratio than Shane. Gabbi is being severely mismanaged, he can't score goals if he's not in the team. He's obviously got the quality, saw that much under Claude.
