Thank him for his service but happy to see him leave. Extremely frustrating player whose heart is so often not in it.

We should definitely give them one. I could say its because they deserve it, which they do, but really its because the more respect we show to them the less likely they will beat us 8-0!

I think Long was fine in the end. And yeh needs to start vs Chelsea.

Pretty depressed but the biggest positive for me today is the performance of Long. Hoedt, JWP and Tadic were negatives for me, but a bit over picking on individual players because so many of them have not been up to standard.

Depending on any injuries after international break I expect us to lineup like: McCarthy Cedric Hoedt Stephens Bertrand Hojbjerg Lemina Tadic Gabbi Redmond Carrillo Austin to replace Carrillo and thats our strongest 11 to finish the season I think.

Predicting a lineup does not matter if we still have the same manager. Every player in the squad has underpeformed during his time except maybe Lemina and JWP for a bit.

Bertrand and Ward-Prowse tried hard and played well I thought, as did Stephens but overall just an inept performance stemming completely from baffling selections (Davis over Boufal, no Lemina etc) and a non-existant gameplan from the manager.

Thats the exact lineup that MP chould be picking and sticking with right now.

Exactly what I was thinking about half-time. Worst thing in the world was for half-time to come and for him to get his "message" across to the players
