Huh, that’s about as good as we’re gonna get? limited options on the bench but that 11 is far stronger than the 11 that started Tuesday. We won’t have djenepo effectively playing RB as he has to cover Ramsey for a start.
-
They might see this as a good opportunity to start him and see how he fairs. 1 because they’ve been in a terrible run of form and Bruce needs a win 2 because he’ll likely be up against Ramsey, who isn’t up to it.

Is Vestergaards absence hurting more than just our defence?
SKD replied to tajjuk's topic in The Saints
Yes. There’s a fantastic piece on the athletic about vestergarrd (and his relationship, on field, with KWP). At our best, we were drawing teams on to us and then using Vestergaards ability to hit a 20 yard pass over the midfield, with either foot. Or even a direct ball through the lines. we’ve became very predictable and slow in our build up without him as Stephens isn’t as good on the ball and more importantly doesn’t have a left foot, so we can only really play it one way. On top of all this, he offers us soo much more in either box with his height. -
That’s a fair point and I hope that was the intention behind it, rather than thinking he’s bigger and better than he currently is. Just smacks of Pogba to me. Regardless of Whatever anyone thinks of him, he’s going to need an arm round the shoulder.

Can we add the post that suggests he done it on purpose to spite the club for rejecting the transfer request to golden posts... SWF gold 😂😂😂 the kid is clearly talent, but also, clearly hasn’t got a brain and has a shite attitude. That tackle was unforgivable. Not just because it put us down to 10, but it was a horrific leg breaker.

1. We have no money to bring anyone in. 2. we have no loan spots left. 3. if we asked for an emergency signing, the FA would rightly say “ why did you loan out 3 players in the last week of the window”....
-
Fuck him. Hope he never plays for us again, no matter of his talent. Another youngster with an awful attitude, good riddance.
-
9+ - 0 upcoming. Ralph needs to pull Danny from the left hand side, it’s killing us.
-
Very concerned about tonight, perfect storm for us to get an absolute hammering. I suspect we’re about to hit rock bottom (for our recent form). Anything under 3 will be a result. 4-0
-
It’s not just 1 window though, is it. Time after time we go into a season without any real depth. For example we knew we needed full back cover in October! surely, as an owner, if the club with a very talented manager, we’re on the brink of top 6 you’d pump some money in to try and achieve that (thus likely making back your revenue stream). we’re not talking a huge war chest with 100m+ here, we’re talking 2 or 3 players at most. we’re toothless without ings goals (he’s not even getting the service) we are desperate for a full back and someone with a bit of creativity up the top end of the field.

Perhaps it’ll be the kick up the backside Gao needs. Or maybe he’ll lose a shit load on his investment. Either way would be a result for me. At this point, we may as well be fan owned, the bloke brings nothing at all to the table... and Newcastle think they have it bad under Ashley.
-
Looks like this season will be Another wasted opportunity due to a complete lack of ambition/willingness to invest in the club by the owner. At the start of Jan we had a very good chance to challenging top 6, maybe even top 4 if we were lucky. A thin squad full of inadequate backups for a prolonged period of time has cost us. I’m getting to the point where I hope Ralph walks to be honest. We have some good people on charge of the club, their hands are just completely tied behind their back because Gao. Who’s probably the worst owner in the PL.
-
What an awful night at the office this has turned out to be. Ultimately not good enough, but if we’d gone 1 up (and a red card) as should have, then we’d have won comfortably. im going to sit back and enjoy grealish up against Djenepo
-
The worst thing about that handball is it’s taken away from Danny’s flick which was world class. mike deans ego 1 - 0 football. (sorry I’m late, turned off after the handball as all I can think about. Robbed.)

Generally speaking, the refs have a difficult job and they’re just not up to the standard the league requires. I can forgive that. However, Mike Dean is an egotistical cunt, who is gagging to be center of attention every time he’s involved, on the field, on the sideline or behind VAR. Absolute wanker. You can bet your Mortage he’ll be a TV ‘pundit’ or work for a news paper. Anything to keep him in the public eye.
-
Theo end product is appalling. Gets the ball and drives forward and looks like a world beater until the final pass / shot where he looks like a pissed up Sunday pub player. if you could combine Redmond and Theo you have a player. One that probably wouldn’t play for us.
-
Not unsettled, Just not good enough. Valery, Stephens and vokins (at the moment) shouldn’t be anywhere near a PL team. edit: slightly harsh in Vokins. Playing well, especially going forward and linking with Stu.
-
Stephens doing Stephens things once again. As a few of us pointed out, not a Premier league player no matter how many clean sheets he’s been involved in. Shite.
-
Tbh, it’s probably one of the main factors Ralph wouldn’t take that job.
-
Fake. Ranger fans on a wind up. Check the last 4 digits of the number (1872 - year they were formed), that was the give away.
-
Armstrong is probably one of our most important players, generally speaking, we are a much better team when he plays.
-
He’ll end up at the very top. Easy to forget he’s only 21, give how composed he looks on the ball. Romeu has been superb this season, but diallo starts all day for me, he’s the future. a lazy comparison I know, but the similarities to Kante are astonishing, and he’s got everything to be just as good if not better. Fantastic signing.
-
Yeah there is VAR. I Don’t know what Ottawa is going on about.
-
Fit in well with Theo, Adams and long at keeping the keepers confidence high in training then.
-
It won’t be cut enough to be in our price range. Although I think he’d suit us (but not at the reported £120k wage demand, he’s worth less than half that.... ) It’s Sad state of affairs really
