Is that a serious question....? 😀
-
Absolutely no chance we’d get him. Pereira at West Brom would be a shout. Again, we’ll be priced out though I expect.
-
You don’t think that if a team like San Marino played the way Ralph sets us up, they wouldn’t concede an absolute load? Of course they would you clown. The only reason it wasn’t over 10 was because they had all 11 men behind the ball and made it as difficult as possible for us to break them down. Like we should have done against United at 3/4/5/6/7-0 down. Imagine space him behind them to attack if they tried pressing us and had very little discipline and defensive shape 😭
-
I highly suspect that absolutely none of this will be true. Minimino would cost us a minimum of £10-15m + more than 50k in wages if were ‘offering more than anyone else’. I’m not sure I’ve seen enough to justify this given we have very limited funds, but he’d be a good option for us. Theo will get offers. We’ll have to probably pay him a substantial sign on fee + a decent chunk of salary, 50k minimum I’d guess. We won’t sign Minimino and Theo, at best it’ll be one or the other. We need to replace ings with a true number 9 and a goal scorer. Abraham won’t want to come here. Why would he, he’ll get better offers. Agree FB is a priority, but so is an ings replacement. Both are essential for us if we want to even try and compete next season. We’ll then need a CB to replace Vestergaard, assuming he is off.
-
Tbf I only said RLC because he was available on loan at the start of the season. I’m sure there are many better options out there, but were really, really desperate for someone who can make a pass to unlock a defence. A Tadic type player. Unbelievably people didn’t rate Tadic, well actually it’s not that unbelievable considering the some of the idiots who support us.
-
😂😂😂 does he nod them in does he? You can blame the ref for losing a game or giving a couple of bad decisions that lead to a goal, but not conceding 9 ffs. I think sticking Ralph and his continuous lunatic gung-ho approach in charge of them and they’d concede 20 probably.
-
I don’t know if he’s injured, but he’s not been very good for them at all. He won’t make it here.
-
No he wouldn’t. He’d get no where near spurs or United’s midfield.
-
Agree. I think Brooks would be out of our price range but the exact sort of player we should be looking at. Youngish, has the ability and experience to play at this level and you’d expect has a resell value if he does well. Could see him going to a West Ham or villa.

So other than just being argumentative and coming across as an absolute loser who sits at home watching songs of praises on a Sunday with his mum how about contributing to the discussion. Do you think that a Sunday 6:30 kick off, is a bad time for a football match? Especially an FA cup semi final, which (maybe unbelievable to you) some might want to enjoy a few beers whilst watching and to potentially celebrate after.
-
It’s because all of our no10’s (Armstrong aside) are the same. Just quick and direct, rather than having any real quality and creativity. We are so heavily reliant on counter attacking football, it’s so easy to play against us. 10 men behind the ball in a solid shape, then break. I called this out at the start of the season. Someone like RLC would have been perfect for us in there.
-
So if it’s not a good time for football, it’s a bad time then. Right? You’ve answered the question yourself.
-
No it’s absolutely not. 9-0 is a record defeat. It’s happened twice. Not even San Marino lost to England 9-0 and think of the gap in quality there. Plenty of teams lose 5/6-0, only 2 have ever lost 9-0 in the premier league. the reason it never happens it’s because it’s fucking appalling and most teams shut up shop about 5/6-0 down.
-
And some Vitamin D wouldn’t go a miss.
-
Not 9-0 though pal is it. Imagine trying to argue that Keane, who won it all at club level, wasnt a great leader and captain hahahahahaha
-
Debatable that the Republic of Ireland are better than us, to be fair. It’s about leadership and authority. JWP sets a great example is a model professional but I doubt he has much authority in the dressing room. If he tried digging you out, you’d laugh at him.
-
Think a team with Roy Keane as captain loses 9-0... twice.....?
-
Fake news. I didn’t start the thread, it was a discussion about how San Marino managed to prevent England scoring 9, which highlights how bad those 2 9-0 defeats actually are. It was made its own thread and moved to here because the little snowflakes on here can’t handle some criticism of the supreme leader. But good idea about that thread idea. One for the main board in the coming days I expect 👍🏻
-
Probably not but i don’t see enough of him to judge. If the stats prove his is, then it’s hard to argue. These things are pretty black and white
-
I suspect if you broke down the areas of their conversion, that it’d be very different for each. But I agree, Prowse is better overall. Id say he’s up there with beckham, who was the greatest of all time (free kicks) for me
-
What the hell are you going on about. Of course who scores more free kicks is better. That’s massively undebatable.
-
How many more free kicks has Ronaldo taken? Not a sarcy comment, but I’m assuming it’s a lot more than Prowse, so therefore his % will be lower.
-
He’s better as a deeper player anyway, like he is with us as a 6. He’s not a 10. At best he’s a box to box 8, but creativity isn’t his strong points.
-
This sounds like a recent game we just played against Newcastle. Conveniently, Newcastle had a man sent off and even went down to 9 men. Another team who hasn’t conceded 9, despite being down to 10 men. I love how we’re just accepting that even if Bednerak hadn’t been sent off, we may have kept it down to 6 or 7 as if that is some kind of achievement LOL.

Chapel End & Teddeer 🤝 In denial despite being rumbled by SKD.
