Southgate and his 2 CDM’s against inferior teams, probably isn’t the benchmark for creativity.
-
Be careful, usually any criticism of the supreme leader on here results in a barrage of abuse.
-
But what issues will there be? Originally told to lockdown to save the NHS, that has been achieved. 50% of the population given their jab, with pretty much all of the ‘high risk’ group included within that. If infection rates spike, what’s the issue assuming they’re for and healthy young people who won’t need ICU care. International travel is fair enough however, as we don’t want to bring a new variant which could potentially be immune to the vaccine. Open up with social distancing, limit / restrict and properly contain incoming international travellers.
-
To be fair, we were told lock down 1 would only be a few weeks...
-
It’s not the space in the stadium that’s the issue. It’s the entry, exit and local infrastructure (trains etc.) being able to run whilst maintaining social distancing.
-
This is the issue, there is no one without an agenda. You either are a POC who thinks the UK is racist or a POC who doesn’t. And then there are the little weird white woke folk who like to be outraged on behalf of everyone else. It kind of makes The report is just pointless. But if a POC is saying the UK isn’t racist, then that’s good enough for me.
-
Would you have said the same if it had come out the other way?
-
So what you’re saying is that you’ll only trust the report if the person who runs it fits with your narrative? If the person who ran the report was someone who believes Britain is a horrible racist country, the findings would have been different? Doesn’t that just make the whole thing completely pointless and based on the pre-perceived opinion of an individual.

I know he’s a striker. He’s also fucking garbage and I’d rather change formation that stick him in the squad. As I’ve said, for me, he’s 4th choice behind JWP, Diallo & Romeu. Armstrong played okay in there, but he’s naturally too attacking to play as a 6, for me.

https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9420563/amp/Britains-race-revolution-Landmark-report-says-UK-model-world-diversity.html Chin up, son. If a black man deems that the UK ‘had progressed into a 'successful multi-ethnic and multicultural community' which was a 'beacon to the rest of Europe and the world'.’ I’ll take his word over some little woke muppet.

Hahahaha let’s hope it’s a Ratcliffe / Trump consortium that is our eventual buyer then.

If you were a 19 year old lad, who is highly rated and have interest from other clubs, how would you feel if an absolute donkey like N’lundlu was getting game time ahead of you? I’d be kicking off as well.
-
And how’s that one worked out. No back up RB or LB, playing a CB in CM, having to name a bench full of kids and naming 3 keepers in a machday squad. I like the concept of course, but As a club who are skint, cutting off the nose to spite the face comes to mind.
-
“he completely blew his chance, and brought shame / embarrassment on the whole club” I’m sorry but that is rubbish. 10 other players and a manager equally embarrassed and brought shame on the club that night. Some of which it’s happened to twice now and you’d expect a hell of a lot more from given their age and experience. But agree there is obviously something going on behind the scenes. A shame as looks a talent and I suspect will go on to being someone who could have been more than a handy player for us in hindsight.
-
I’m sure I saw somewhere before that apparently Rohl was the go between Ralph and the players and apparently his communication with the team was pretty limited other than on the training pitch and in a game. I can’t recall where I saw that and obviously don’t know the truth or if that’s now changed.
-
Out of interest, what could possibly be the reasons? I cannot see a valid point, other than just ‘teaching a lesson’. Obviously he had a big mistake, he’ll know that, he’ll be kicking himself. But to keep him in exile as a result is poor man management of a young lad, imo. The game was won, against a pretty poor team and 5 subs to stick on, it’s perfect to give someone 10 minutes who you’re trying to bed in and even better to ease someone back in after an incident like that. One of those subs was Nlundlu who is clearly not going to make it at any significant level. Even if the club know he’s going, giving him game time will only add to his value.

They were never going to take the knee for this Marxist organisation. A country that experienced the horrors of communism first hand. The difference between a nation to see the issues first hand and the some idiotic students who’ve been brainwashed in university. I know who I’d be backing 👍🏻
-
I don’t think anyone is saying he’s a world beater. He’s still a young lad, who clearly has a lot to learn. I’d say he should be 4th in the pecking order after the main 3. If we had signed Tom Davies or Oliver Skipp (or anyone in that England team) I think people would be fairly happy with that, so a bit harsh to call ‘reserve football’, but get your drift. But to put a CB in there and to not give him any minutes in an FA cup game (which would have been perfect to bed him back in), which was won, was pretty piss poor to be honest. Especially after how the lad must be feeling.
-
Rubbish. Plenty of teams go down to ten men and don’t ship 9. This is a discussion that is has been had many a time, but Ralph need to shoulder a large share of the blame for not changing shape.
-
What a load of rubbish. If anything is ‘blocking the pathway’ is an attitude such as this. If you’re good enough, you’re old enough. As per the Luke shaw example you used. There’s an argument if he’s better than JWP, Romeu & Diallo. But he’s certainly better than Stephens in there. If he goes, it’s on Ralph for treating him like shit.
-
I’m not one to big up saints players, but JWP would be so much more suited to that deeper lying role than Phillips (obviously the added set play threat as well). I think with JWP, Southgate doesn’t know his best position and plays him in a 10, which is clearly not his strongest position. Phillips is so average and Rice is the standout holding CM, then for me, it’s between Henderson, JWP and Mount (Shout out to Bellingham who is a great talent, but hasn’t had much of a look in) for that second no8 position. To think Phillips has played the most out of the above in games against San Marino, Albania and Poland is criminal and shows why southgate isn’t the man for this crop of talent. I can only assume his place for squad in the euros is not secure and he wanted a closer look at him? Personally, My strongest 3 would be Rice, mount, Foden with Henderson coming in for rice in easier games and Foden for tougher games.

Yeah... looks like Ineos are going down the City Group / RB group, just without the changing of name so removes the ‘franchise’ element from It. If the reported 180m figure is correct, we’re a bit of a bargain to be honest. Obviously there is the high interest Loan which needs factoring in, but I think I’m right in saying it doesn’t come In to play until 5 years time? I guess it comes down to if we are cheap enough for him to make a return without having to pump a load of cash at us. We’ll see I guess.
-
I’m sure they’d be delighted with an offer like that. Hi Roman, how about we offer you 30m less than you paid last year and you’ll have to pay £200k of his salary whilst you’re at it.
-
CEO of Ineos. Used to live in Lyndhurst, before moving to Monaco, I think. Owner of Nice in France, not sure on the Swiss team. Linked to buying Chelsea? (One of the big 4) in past who he supports, I believe. Very wealthy, Experience in running a football club, would be an ideal fit, but it’s not happen. Sounds like it’s just a case of linking a wealthy man who lived in the area to a club that’s for sale.

I don’t think Ramirez was physically strong enough for the premier league. If I remember rightly, he was always picking up injuries. Whilst you may not have to be physically fast, tadic for example, you do need to be quick in the mind. I don’t think you can teach this. For me, he was too slow on the ball and I think this is why he may be more suited to a slower paced league, like in Spain or Italy. English football is very fast paced when compared to other divisions. Technically a very good player, I just don’t think he was suited to the league and I doubt that would be any different now. However, let’s not forget he was a fairly young lad, so maybe he’s grown up and learnt a bit. Who knows.
