  1. Rubbish. Get rid.
  2. Yeah, you’re right. But let’s be honest, the one trick pony in charge isn’t astute enough to do that.
  3. Lallana and Kante are completely different players. Pointless debate and comparison. They may be played in relatively similar positions but Lallana is a creative player Kante is a Ball Winning midfielder. The only position Lallana would realistically fit in our system is one of the 10’s in a similar role to what Armstrong has. If, which would never happen as its a waste of funds, signed him, it’d be to improve us going forward. You’d therefore be looking for a goal contribution / return. Thankfully, it’ll never happen.
  4. Can you imagine this place if we were right up against it and Ralph took off Romeu or JWP for Lallana 🤣
  5. No, as I and everyone else other than you have said, he’s not worth the £100k a week salary with his injury record. The fact his goal contribution has been so low, is exactly why he wouldn’t be any good for us. He’s probably better than our current 10’s (Armstrong and tella aside), but let’s be honest, the bar isn’t even above ankle height to be better than that load of shite.
  6. 4 comments in.... 😂😂😂 “Doing OK, but no more than that given his salary and signing on fee. He needs to contribute more goal wise (either scoring or by assist). Hopefully there is far more to come. 1 goal and one assist with shooting and crossing accuracy both of 17 per cent are not that impressive stats”
  7. Reminds of the bloke recommending Redmond slots into the number 6 role. All players can run and kick the ball.
  8. I really don’t think you understand the type of player Lallana is.
  9. Personally, I’d say he’s better than Redmond, Djenepo & Walcott but we wouldn’t have to leave anyone out because he’s never fit.
  10. To be honest, he hardly plays at all, but goals and assists are what I’d look for in terms of output from someone like Lallana, yes. Clearly you wouldn’t from a defensive midfielder though.
  11. but he’s not a CM In a traditional sense. At best, he’s a creative CAM, if he was to play in a 2 with JWP we’d get ripped apart more than we already do. If you think He is anything near the same type of player as those in the list you provided, you’re probably the most clueless football fan I’ve come across. Redmond is a fair comparison.
  12. Lallana is exactly the type of player we are missing. A 10 who isn’t just reliant on being quick and direct with very little technical ability (Theo, Dejenepo even Tella to a degree). It’s why Armstrong does so well when he plays there. That being said, given his age, wage demand and injury record, wouldn’t have been a good deal for us. A Theo mark 2.
  13. liebherr wouldn’t have brought us as a premier league club or in the state we currently are. Were an awful investment for anyone other than a rich Arab who wants to have some fun money or compete against his other rich Arab friends. Unless we luck out with someone like Ratcliff or RB who see us as a crown to their current portfolio, the next owner will be more of the same.
  14. Not many of theirs I’d have either, if I’m honest. Bissouma, Ben White and maybe Dunk (he’s a decent leader which were lacking, that’s about it). The rest are probably much of a muchness.
  15. See I don’t get this. Our net spend over the last 5 years is pretty much lowest in the league. Yeah we wasted the VVD money, but I don’t really see why that should hamstring us forever more? The VVD money effectively has left us just above (in footballing terms) even. Why are we seemingly the only club who has to sell before we can buy?
  16. Would be a good choice for us to be honest. Got them playing a decent style on not a huge budget and if he had a striker they’d be in the top 10. Not sure he’s done enough to justify a move to a top team just yet, would he leave Brighton for us? I don’t know. Probably not with Ings leaving.

  18. After pointing out Ralph’s failings for some months now and getting a torrent of abuse as a result, I have to say I’m feeling slightly satisfied to see that 90% of those on here are finally waking up. Shout out to the Lord who also saw through the Ralph cult. Egg on the face of a few posters, that’s for sure. Gai0YrX_bzTpIpHE.mp4
  19. I thought the exact same. He doesn’t really come across as an intelligent player or even a natural leader. Just quick and that’s about it. 50-75k is way too much for him. An all round decent bloke and one I’m happy with having at the club, but given our financial situation not a great deal for us.
  20. Also worth noting that Moyes managed to get West Ham up to 6th without a recognised striker.
  21. Pre season, given the strong run towards the back end of last season, I’d have hoped to have finished in and around the top 10. Up until November, I’d have liked us to challenge top 8 (not unrealistic when you look at West Ham). Regardless of how you good or bad you think our squad is, it’s not a handful of wins in 20 odd league games, losing 9-0 twice, getting hidings from many teams in the process bad. As many have said, the same group have shown over the course of a calendar year that they aren’t as bad as we’ve seen for the past 6 months. That run is some people’s reason to keep the manager, you can’t have it both ways.
  22. Raphina aside, Leeds don’t have a better squad than us. Same could probably be said about Newcastle and Palace who also finished above us. People weren’t blaming the squad for being crap when we had threads about winning the league and competing for Europe. Calling the players crap is an easy scape goat. We conceded 68 goals this season. Only second to West Brom. That’s with a back 4 consisting of one of the players of the season (KWP) 2 CB’s who’ll be playing in the euros and a seasoned LB. Lets be realistic, our back 4, whilst it may not be great, isn’t the second worst defence in the league (on paper). At some point, questions need to be asked of the manager.
  23. Plenty of managers available. To suggest there are none that would be an improvement on the second half of that season is a ludicrous argument.
  24. Other than Ryan Mason and whoever is at Sheffield United, there’s not a manager in the league I wouldn’t swap for Ralph atm.
  25. Of course it’s not deliberate, what idiot would deliberately go out to lose? I’d actually probably be less concerned if it was deliberate. The issue is that it’s not deliberate. He’s not tactically astute enough to stop it. And that’s why he has to go.
