Spot on! That's why I really don't get or understand same city derby's (Celtic / Rangers aside). For me, the rivalry is much more than football. I hate everything related to Portsmouth and those that live there. Everyone claims their rivalry is the most fierce, but I honestly believe that saints vs. pompey is up near the top

I actually think that's what we are missing (along with a goal scorer). Davis aside, we've not really got anyone who can break into the box and has got a bit of attacking flair in our midfield 3.

I think they booed when he took a corner in the first 5 minutes. Unfortunately for them, that seemed to get his back up and he was outstanding after that (I guess getting on someone's back can go 1 of two ways. Luckily Lovren & Lallana seem to crumble).

I reckon it would be either J Rod or Bertrand. I don't understand why VvD doesn't take our free kicks. Having seen some of the free kicks he took at Celtic, he would be better suited than JWP (who has only ever scored 1 if I recall correctly).

You've missed mine and others points completely. If you want to protest (in which, as long as it's peaceful, you are entitled to), do it at the embassy and aim it at people that can make a difference. Not at innocent football fans. IMO I feel that this protest had the potential to incite trouble and potentially upset. To top that off, for Manji to laugh at them getting Besiktas (i'd imagine due to their and Turkish football fans reputation), shows his hatred to that nationality. Which IMO is unacceptable (would you wish injury or fear to a German football fan).

Work with a handful of Bmouth fans and I get the feeling that its only a about a couple of 1000 that hate us a want to start a rivalry (I believe in general it's the younger generation, who obviously weren't there, or don't remember the hard times). They weren't too happy with Bertrand and his celebration (apparently he was running past the family stand telling them to f*ck off . Not that he's to have known it was the family stand mind).

Assume it would require planning permission ect and maybe the council will only 'buy in' if we increase accessibility to the stadium. The route to the train station can get fairly congested as it is, so imagine what it would be like if we add an additional c.10k (admittedly not all of those would be heading towards the train station). Assume if they are to add a station at the ground, they would need to redevelop the line also? Otherwise, I can't see how it would work.

Completely agree. Maybe provide a 'gentleman's agreement' that if he plays more than x amount next year we'll offer him a 1 year extension and keep it on that basis.

Do we really need to expand the stadium? Like the idea of purchasing the land surrounding as lets be honest, it's pretty sh*t, but not sure (at the moment) what the benefit of expanding the stadium would be.

Would hope that given all the hype / praise the 'black box' and our recruitment team get, none of our signings would be a 'panic buy'. Les & Puel aren't stupid (I hope) and can surely see we desperately need a striker (even when Austin is fit). I just hope Les is given the funds to get one! Wouldn't be surprised if we get someone in on loan and then get Berahino in the summer. Unless of course we can get him now, for a knock down price like Austin.

For me it's not the results that are dissapointing. It's the boring, negative, lifeless football we play that ****s me off. unfortunatly I can't see that it's anyone else fault than the manager. I actually like Puel, I think he's a real classy bloke with the right intentions (I.e youth policy) and I really want him to succeed. I'll give him until February (once we've got a striker who can score from 4 yards), if things don't improve then maybe it's time for him to go.

I'd start Olomola on Sunday. Massively untested and very raw but he can't be any worse than the other 2 clowns we have.
