  1. But Caceres / PEH have experience in big games and finals. Personally I think they are the sort of player you need. Do you think Rashford will start ahead of Ibra because he's a local lad and will want it more.....
  2. Have heard something very similar.

    Ranieri sacked

Lets be honest, you really can't blame the Leicester board for making this decision. They have been god awful this year and on current form it is looking likely that they'll be going down and will be out of CL. When a manager loses the dressing room, it's time for them to go. It's a shame, but to call it ridiculous/outrageous/awful or whatever you want to call it, is a bit far. IMO the writing has been on the wall for months and their board has given him longer than others would have, I suspect. It's easy to just blame the players, but ultimately its the manager who picks the tactics / team and if he is not inspiring, then the players won't perform. They were very very lucky last year (possibly the weakest the PL has ever been) and this shows it was a complete freak. It's a bit like when Adkins was sacked. It was sad and everyone was outraged, but in hindsight it was the right decision. There's no room for sentiment in football with the money involved in the PL.
  4. I thought this.. He's certainly not a giant... only looked a couple of inches bigger than Cedric. A giant with a ponytail / top knot.... Perhaps the 'giant' is VVD
  5. Stephens played very well however they had a number of decent chances that I wouldn't expect United to miss.
  6. Playing Stephens would be far more of a gamble IMO. Caceres, although he hasn't played in some time, has experience of CL, EL and massive fixtures at Barca and Juve. He's clearly a talented defender who has been unlucky with injury. If he makes a mistake, he'll get over it. If Stephens makes a mistake then it could destroy his career. Also, I would imagine Caceres has the experience and know how to deal with a player like Zlatan. Correct me if i'm wrong but would't he have played both with and against him at some point in his career in Spain and Italy?
  7. But this can't be true? It's all made up by the media to ensure united win on Sunday.....
  8. Exactly. The media, The PL, Uefa, Fifa, The FA and anyone else involved in the footballing world hates us. There is no way that this could be true and that we've been up for sale for (at least) the last year.
  9. From what I can remember he done alright for us considering. You've got to remember we were sh!t back then,
  10. For us yes, but he's not good enough for united or any other top 4/6 team though. Romeu has done very very well for us this year but he is being massively overrated. Some have even said he's better than wanyama Romeu has found his level with us imo
  11. Because he plays for saints. If he was at any other club you wouldn't. You're the sort of person who thinks Martina has enough to do a job at a CL team, just because he plays for us.
  12. Not a chance that he'd get in ahead of Herrera and Pogba.
  13. May be wrong but I don't believe they do.
  14. Whoever said it is wrong and have based that on no factual evidence at all. The reason is because Lyon (c30 miles from St Etienne) are at home tomorrow night. Exactly the same reason for Fenerbahce playing tonight as well (Besiktas at home tomorrow). Couldn't tell you why Schalke are though. However it doesn't surprise me that someone has made this up as some people generally seem to believe everyone in football and the football media hates us
  15. No, not all, but the majority are. Also, as a team they are better than us, hence the difference in league positions.... Realistically who out of our team would get into theirs? VVD, Bertrand, Gabbiadini, possibly Boufal & Cedric as squad players. But as I said as above, we need them to have an off day and for us to be on top form.
  16. in fairness this is true. Player for player if both teams perform to the best of their ability they are better than us. We need to play out of our skins, them to not perform out of their skins and a bit of luck. Basically re create both legs of the semi finals.
  17. Plenty, baker street a good suggestion if you want to be close to Wembley but without the morons in the green man. Be plenty of Mancs and Saints about round there so should be a good atmosphere.
  18. is it too much to ask for an injury to Ibra and Mata?
  19. I know of people who have been banned for a lot less, so he's very lucky! Usually a ban is standard practice for anyone entering the field of play.
  20. How about everyone bins off the green man and meets at Trafalgar Square drinking cans and hanging off anything they can. With a bit of luck there will be a bit of garden furniture put out early which we can throw at passers by.
  21. It's more the 45 minute wait for a beer and p!ss... They are just an inconvenience.
  22. Wouldn't this be a boring place if everyone had the same opinion and enjoyed the same things....
  23. I think that is near the half way line, but that's our side.
  24. Not many, but more than usual. As ericb has said above, I generally don't like the majority of our fan base. 'Indiana Jones', his mate with about 3 teeth and any other dickhead that associates with him can ***** off. Each to their own, but the green man is not my idea of fun. I'll be making noise inside the ground, not in a boozer just to get a photo/video on 'football away days'.
  25. We're staying south. Honestly couldn't think of anything worse than being in the green man surrounded by dinlos who think they're funny in fancy dress with their sh!t songs and awful 'banta'. Not to mention that 40 minute tussle to get a beer and go for a p!ss. I'll be heading straight to the stadium from the boozer to try and avoid!
