Has Long done anything so far? I haven't heard his name much at all?

Its amazing isn't it? He has more goals than all the forwards we currently have available.

I like Tadic and I think he's a good player. I like Boufal more, but I would have liked to see them on the pitch together more. With our relatively weak midfield, he will be missed.

I agree this doesn't fall only on the strikers, the mids have a lot to do with this too. However how pathetic will it be (and I guess it will) when Austin is our leading scorer at the end of the season even though he only played in 1/3 of the games.

We do look very flat right now. No emotion or intensity.

Puel needs to find a way to generate more chances. Formation change, player change, whatever it takes. That is his job after all.

Davis needs to play regularly. I know his defense isn't great, but with this team we need his attacking style in the mid field.

I rate Long higher than J Rod. I'd play Long and push him to get over his scoreless period. We need Long to start scoring. J Rod is an unknown now, and its been years since he has really been productive (obviously because of his injury). Long is just 6 months or so removed from being productive.

Thanks. Well that sucks, 40+% of our goals so far. I like Long in a 1 upfront setup. His pace can be an asset.
