We have 2 weeks before WHU. We should dump MP tomorrow, giving Silva 2 weeks to settle in. Get Austin back so we have some punch upfront, change the formation getting Gabbi, Austin, and other attackers on the pitch at the same time (3-5-2, 3-3-4?). Sims plays, Boufal plays, attack attack.

I find it rediculous to keep giving the manager chances, and then when it all falls apart (like everyone knew it would) people say its too late now. Thats crap. Dump him and give us a shot to stay up, look what it did for other teams. Even if you think MP can coach, the fact is this team isn't responding to him and now has no confidence.

Its pretty telling Austin plays 1/2 the season and is our leading scorer two years in a row. The guy is heads and shoulders above what we have sadly. If he comes back for the final 2 months it will make a difference, even though I only expect MP to do his normal "the last 10 minutes" scenario.

Its weird, its like some just don't like the way he runs (or something). The guy was not expensive, has been the leading scorer for the past 2 seasons even with the injuries, and lifts the team up when he is out there. The players have confidence in him. He is the only guy we have who consistently delivers goals.

I think he'll be an average striker in the Championship. Certainly wouldn't be starting for a PL squad or a top Championship squad. Doesn't help create anything, but seems to get in the right spots. Purely a support/role player.

First MP doesn't play 2 upfront. Second, I don't think 2 upfront would help Carillo at all anyway. He just isn't that good. He looks like an average Championship striker to me.

I know everyone is dying to say positive things about Carillo, but the guy does nothing. Why he is on the pitch ahead of Gabbi is as baffling as why Long was ahead of Gabbi. He offers no threat at all, and is invisible most of the time.

I believe the losses of VVD and Fontes hurt us a lot more than people realize. We went from arguably the most solid CB situation in the PL to one of the worst, and you can see the difference. Coupld the worse defense with losing our only real goal scorer in Austin, and now suddenly those 2-1 and 1-0 wins are 0-1 losses.

I don't think he really does much, definitely not a game changer. Austin continues to be the only really scoring threat we have. When he's not there the defense doesn't have much to worry about.

Dyche will make some adjustments at the half to get more offense. Will MP?

Burnley strikes me as being very well coached.

Neither squad looks capable of scoring. We need to get Stephens involved in the offense! Lets get a corner.

Why should a manager be given praise when we are in relegation? We are at the bottom of the league, our record stinks.

In the 10 or so matches since Austin went down, we have had 1 goal from a striker (Long). I think we've gotten 4 from our CB's, LOL (although its not really funny).

So who did we get as a new manager?
