I liked that we kept attacking at 1-0. Still need more punch in the final third, but I think with Austin on for Carrillo (who really doesn't do much) will make a big difference.

To me, this match is now completely meaningless. I think I'd play the subs (like Redmond and Long) to give them some time. All that matters is the next 2 months of PL matches.

Thats as much on him as the other players, right? Haven't seen any great runs either. Like I said with a team that is noticeably better than the competition, that continually feeds him good chances in the box, I bet he scores some. If he has to make his own chances and create his own space, then he's invisible. He isn't going to help us stay up, but in the Championship he'd be a serviceable striker.

We have 2 weeks before WHU. Sack MP, get Austin back, and change the tactics to be more aggressive (3-5-2, 3-3-4?). We need more attackers, so Austin, Gabbi, Sims, Boufal all need to play. I said this on the match thread too. We have time to stay up, but need to completely change what we are doing.

Average Championship striker (maybe). Give him the goal in front of the goal and he may score. but he's not going to make a difference over many other strikers. Many Carrillo's can be had for 1/4 of the price.
