Need to score another, can't let Chelsea back in it. At 2-0, Chelsea looks like they may just get back on the bus and go home.

Good half. Once again the defensive approach, trying to counter quickly, has worked like at Arsenal. We sure do look better with Hughes. Need another score however. As an aside, it looks really strange seeing #35 running around on D. He's doing fine though.

Chelsea seems to be losing it. Need to keep them off the score sheet until the half.

Probably knows all those Italian teams he's been linked to have scouts in the stands.

I know its irrational, and so far they have done absolutely nothing wrong, but the defence still scares the **** out of me.

Defensive set up, trying to keep in close and nip it in the end I guess.

TBD -although in Austin's defense he is 2nd in shots per minute played in the PL and 3rd in goals per minute played in the PL this season (behind only Salah and Aguero). Pretty lofty company. So even though he's been hurt for 1/2 the season, its hard to find another player who has had more of an impact.

There are numerous, but unconfirmed, reports that Conte is already out as Chelsea Manager. If true I wonder if that helps or hurts us.

You guys are being too harsh. I think Carrillo could be a good League One striker with a little work.

Targett is doing well at Fulham, but then again its Championship competition so who knows if that translates to the PL. Plus remember, that we have the deepest midfield in the PL (that was sarcastic).

If Hudd only beats either Watford or Everton for 3 more pts, we'd be tied but have a much better GD so we'd win If CP beat Stoke and WBA they'd have 37 and be clear of us If Swansea beats Stoke they'd have 35 pts and it would come down to GD (we are both tied) I think our best path is to hope Stoke continues losing and Huddersfield loses to Watford. In theory, especially if they lose to Watford, Huddersfield could lose out. That would mean that we'd just need 1 win and 1 draw to pass them because they're GD sucks. In any scenario we have to win more matches to be safe than anyone else, and we have two really tough matches in Man City and Chelsea.

Hughes pushed all the right buttons today. We need 10 pts to stay up, maybe less the way some of these teams are playing. I'm hopeful.

Unfortunately I think our biggest weakness has been self inflicted. When we had Fonte and VVD we had arguable the best CB combo in the PL, now after letting them both go we have the worst.

Thought Hughes put us in position to win Our defending is just not to PL standards, no team could win consistently with our CB's Like Long and Austin upfront Seems like Gabbi and that other striker (I forgot his name already) are done here Thought PEH played well, as did Tadic (a lot on the match thread would disagree there), but would have like to have seen Boufal. For me JWP and Davis were pretty invisible Oh yeah, and Stephens sucks. League One player in my book
