I guess I'm in the minority here, but I'm not crazy about them. I don't care for the black collar on the home jersey, and I much prefer the black away to this blue/yellow stuff. In the rumored pictures floating around they had a black kit that I really liked, but I don't see it anywhere now. Guess I'll keep wearing my black away jersey from last seasons kit.

I love the World Cup, and love rooting for England. I'm all for nationalism. So far so good tonight, although not really sure how strong the Super Eagles really are.

In hindsight, one of his biggest issues was lack of management and leadership skills. Managing 25 top athletes with ego's takes a strong guy, like Hughes is and MP wasn't. I get the feeling some players walked all over him. The Boufal issue comes to mind, I wonder what crap he was pulling with MP? He tried to do it with Hughes, and Hughes took care of it immediately.

Not according to this thread, listing the sprint and fitness results from the beginning of the season tests. IMO he isn't laterly quick like Long, but once he gets going he's pretty fast. I think people see the shuttle back and forth and assume he has no speed. Can't help but wonder if Hughes and the team know Gabbi is gone, which is why Hughes didn't play him vs Man City. If he's out the door it makes sense to play Austin and Long, since they will likely be here again next season.
