I get you don't like him, but you are purposefully being misleading here. Two points, first 14 goals is likely more than anyone else we have. Second, you continue to overlook the fact that he was injured for 1/2 seasons twice, and didn't play many minute that first 1/2 season. Regardless of all the faults you love to list daily, he does score a goal every 1.5 -2 matches. Again this is far better than anyone else we have, and shows he does have a lot of value for us.

I actually thought McCarthy and the CB's looked good. They held Burnley out even though they were completely exposed for over 1/2 of play *****il the 4-4-2 change). Big V in particular.

I agree on a formation change. This just doesn't seem to work with the players we have.

I Think we need to replace Redmond and Lemina with ?? (Ings, Gabbi, Mo). There just isn't enough control and attack going on.

Ing strikes me as more of a Gabbi type guy than Austin, I guess we'll see. Anyway, I found it interesting that Hughes said he has 4 quality strikers now all with different skillsets to offer in his presser. I guess hes already pushing out Gallagher. I would have like to see him get a shot.

Underwhelmed. At best he's the same as what we have in my opinion, but at worst he has had 4 knee operations and can blow at any time. I'd have rather given Gallagher a shot. He's younger, not all banged up, and much cheaper, plus he looks good to me.
