Both Austin and Gabbi have done nothing, and its primarily due to the midfield not creating anything. They are isolated, and the only time they touch the ball is if they come away from the goal. Thinking that replacing Austin will change anything is dumb. Plus scapegoating Austin, and not Gabbi, makes no sense. The anti-Austin fervor here is over the top. Give those guys some midfielders who create and attack better, then they will look a lot better. Same goes for Ings. The real culprit here is 1) the defence is horrible, and 2) lack of quality in the attacking mid position (ala Mane)

2 goals should be enough to win. We've conceded 2 horrible goals

Every match its like we don't have any attacking midfield players. All our mids do is pass it back and forth, but they never know how to change it into an attack. The forward get isolated, and the defenders get put under more and more pressure as the opponent keeps pushing the defensive mids back.

Getting 2 goals in a game is a good step forward, even more so that they came from strikers. I also think Austin's post game rant is a riot, and he's right. The refs sucked, and the PL makes plenty of money. They should do more to improve the refereeing (such as VAR for every goal, etc.).

We can't just sack every manager every year. Sacking Hughes would make it 3 in 3 seasons. Maybe, just maybe, the issue isn't with the manager but somewhere else?

Hughes isn't going anywhere, nor should he. Some people here are over the top with their anti-Hughes stance. Its almost like Hughes beat them up as a kid or something.

Rarely, like never, do you see a goal like that disallowed. Complaining about fouls, should have been penalties, etc., happen in every match. You can ***** all you want about Hughes, however we were royally screwed in this match.
