Agree with most of that but I think Long is a goner too. No space for him with Ings, Obafemi (who Ralph likes) and a new striker. Also would not be surprised if Armstrong left too. His playing time has dramatically eroded, and now with Sims emerging it will just get worse. He seems to be the midfield version of the "last 10 minutes with Austin if needed" role

Seems to me obviously Ralph wanted that, so we should be quiet. He wants to move forward for sure, but he also doesn't want mistakes. He views passing back to Gunn the same as passing sideways to Yoshi (for instance). I don't really care, as long as no one does what Big V did yesterday when he gave the ball away.

Hughes came in to keep us up, not put in a system, and he did that. He did what he needed to quickly, with a short term fix. So I have no ill feelings with him. I think we all knew he wasn't the right fit for the long term.

Loser of Brighton v Cardiff is going down IMO. If Cardiff can win they have a shot, since Brighton could lose every remaining fixture.
