Agreed. I feel the same way about Tadic. Caught a lot of junk here for some reason but I always rated him. Now he's gone and we'd love him back

This is my feeling too. Ralph wants to play a certain way, and we just don't have the right players to do it. The decision is either redo the entire squad around how Ralph wants to play, or get a manager who will conform a style to our players. Like i mentioned in another thread, after watching this what Puel did is growing on me. He put in a boring style, but it was a style that he could win at with the current crop of players

My only takeaway from that match is that Watford is absolutely terrible. I honestly believe they would be in a relegation battle if they were in the Championship. We basically played 20 minutes of football and won

I don't see how you can not blame Ralph, at least to some extent. If you blamed Puel, Pelligino, and Hughes, then why would Ralph get a pass. Frankly I'm starting to see the smarts is Puel anyway. He played a style that they thought we could win with (given our players), even if it was crap. Better than forcing a style we have not hope of doing.

There is something wrong here under the surface, where this is smoke there is fire. Asst coaches leaving, players unhappy and leaving, now even core players like PEH hinting. Maybe Ralph's management style is rubbing thin? At first people were putting up with him, but over time he wore them out?

But we had such a good week of practice?
