You might be missing a couple of other facts that might impact this though Everton are skint and by that i mean dangerously skint. In addition, they are now falling foul of FFP and restrictions on further purchases and need to sell players to balance the books As a consequence they are looking very likely they will go down. The club is in a mess on and off the pitch. I think most players would need to be out of their minds to consider going there at the moment. Che might well be better off grabbing 20+ goals this year and being a free agent in the summer. Southampton might be happy with this also as the financial benefit of promotion partially due to his goals may well exceed the £10-15m we'd get for him minus the cost of a replacement. Alernatively, Che amd Southampton may well want a teansfer to be completed now but Everton is looking like a terrible option. My Palace supporting mates would love to have him. That deal i could understand

As far as im concerned, I wish him well either way. Other lesser professionals have and do 'down tools' in this scenario. This season, he has wanted to play and put in a shift whenever picked and scored goals that got us points we would not have got. You may argue he's just doing what's required but i think this points to his mentality. I personally hope he stays as we are a better team with him in it Talking to my Palace mates yesyetday, they rate hime and would love him up front for them

My brother in law who's a West Ham season ticket holder, really rates him and really wanted him to stay at West Ham....thats a good enough recommendation for me

Mannings having a stinker
-
We are the worst fans any club could have...absolute wankers
-
3-3 away to the top of the league side and hearing stuff such as 'hanging on for 90 mins' and basically slagging off the team....bunch of c*unt fans getting what they deserve
-
Your missing the point I was making, the post I was commenting on (and others posts) was that they were saying how good Forster is and wishing he was back. I don't agree. I agree with you
-
But when he played for us the whole forum said he was shit
-
Worlds most negative fans.....get a grip ffs
-
First of all I hope Azpi is OK? I've just seen the Selles post match interview on the TV.....brilliant interview It seems the players are REALLY behind him as well judging by the reaction in front of the away support We need to give him the job right now
-
This is a massive game today. We have to win if we want to stay up. If you want anything other than a win today, you really need to go and support someone else
-
Correct....thick as a plank of wood some people. He's the one bit of genuine class we have....well Lavia as well. That boy is destined for greatness
-
Liverpool for a start.....and Chelsea Oh sorry you said top six
-
They're not happy over there.....but at least some are giving us some credit
-
Alcatraz is leaving Racing....its not goodbye, just see you later Or something very similar...sorry didn't see the whole thing had already been done
-
Great signing...get a good central mid and a centre forward and we may have a sniff of survival
-
Very, very proud of the team today. It looked like we were going to be done at least 0-3 after the first 20 minutes or so but by the end I felt we could have nicked it. A great battling performance, the better team 2nd half and Lyanco is an absolute rock......Perroud, Eli, Edozie and Calleta Car were also superb
-
Couldn't agree more really. I didn't think we were poor against West Ham or Everton.....better finishing, different results both times
-
I'd have Broja back in a heartbeat..he was a bloody menace when he came on Tuesday night!
-
Still in the Gasworks having a post match pint and have to say I thought we were pretty damn good today. It was a good performance with loads of spirit, effort and some good football. The only difference between the sides was a bit more class in the final third....amazing what a bottomless pit of money can do. We'll play a lot worse than today and win. Our back line were all excellent as well as Lavia, JWP and Adams.....team clapped off at the end which says it all. I'm a lot more confident for the rest of the season from what I saw today
-
Much as I hope I'm wrong, Delap won't be coming here in all liklihood. Pep is personally blocking a transfer and I reckon a loan will mean him going to Burnley As for the lack of experience comments, if Pep wants to keep him and the City scouting and youth setup want him and we want him with the former close links to City youth setup and scouting its probably a fair assumption that he's not going to be a lemon
-
I agree with you but Howe is already starting to make noises to that effect
-
It's more that as I understand it they are now very close to hitting the mandated minimum number of available players to be able to request a postponement...a couple of faked additional injuries and that will be that
-
Im going to reserve judgement. We don't know who has knocks, covid or needs a rest......but I will say I'm glad I decided not to go today because my father in law is nervous of covid and I'm only just getting over it I don't know if resting players for the Newcastle game is a good idea as it is highly possible that the game will be postponed now that St Maximum and Wilson have been added to their massive injury / covid list
